Correct, nothing is guaranteed as far as i have seen, but with a 7/14 9am reservation, i would think you have a good chance. It also depends on your dealer and how many orders are in front of you and their overall allocation.

Wait wait. My dealer told me I was within their allocation amount at the time I put my order, which was about a week after the order banks opened. Did they lie?!

they sure did. They wouldn't know their allocation before all the orders are in

Depends on the destination. Could be Suez, or Panama Canal for east coast, or straight to LA/Long Beach for west coast

Just got my allocation email from the region so dealers should be getting theirs today or next couple. Email still says "estimated" allocations, so I don't know if this means it can still change or if that's just to cover themselves if production gets reduced due to chip, covid or other issues.

EDIT-zone rep said this was final allocation, so "estimated" was just a CYA Ford put in.

ford does not even know how many Broncos they well build in 2021 or when they well start building them so all this this allocation numbers are a wast of time because you can bet it well change again like it has been doing.

I didn't use those numbers as the only two options, but to illustrate a point.

What's the exact amount? Annually, as the profit will change after production begins, and as each vehicle rolls down the line. So, $750M - $850M?

Might want to add parts as well...minus warranty claims (which will definitely be high)

So random question, Does Ford determine what customers orders get pushed through or is it the dealerships? For example, you have 100 orders but only allocated 50. Do you pick the 50 customers that will be a MY21 or will Ford determine what 50 of the 100 orders get picked?

Ford decides what gets built by time stamp and commodity restraints.

I was amazed to learn that they use cargo holds of passenger jets to transport parts. I mean, Ford is one of the richest companies in the world and I'm damn certain they own multiple aircraft. Wonder how many "chips" could fit in the unused space in them.......
