This may have been asked. I have a question regarding forscan and enabling baja mode. I plug in the adaptor follow all the instructions everything is linked properly. I go to configuration and programming and it won't recognize the transmission (10R60) I select that and I get a couple boxes to confirm that's the right one (see pic) and that's where I stopped because that differs from everyone else. Do I just need to confirm and keep going? Most yt vids they didn't have to go through this step. Tia

Are you doing this with the vehicle running by chance? Or just with ignition "on"?

I believe the engine is on and it told me to turn it off with ignition on

Has anyone seen a way to enable the gear selection in the display for the auto? Currently only does it when it’s in manual
Bump for this topic, inquiring minds would like to know. :)

Tried to look in the spreadsheet and a search on this thread but could not find this one: Does anyone know if there is something that will allow you to unlock the doors either by using the tailgate button, or when you open the tailgate? I try to avoid digging out my fob, but if I am putting something in the back, my wife is left standing in the cold (or the rain) until I finish loading and come and touch the driver door.

It is not one of the settings in Sync, so figured there might be something programmable. (and yes, I know that the answer is for me to go unlock the doors first...)
If you have your phone handy use the Ford Pass App.

I know, but the point is that I usually have my hands full. And I could use my fob too. Maybe the answer is to have Siri unlock. It’s just odd we can’t set the rear unlock to also “unlock all”

@D2dhanover - any insight on this? Thank you!!

I noticed that DRL settings have been added to the spreadsheet. Could someone explain to me what the various settings actually do to the behavior of the DRL's? Thanks!

00 = Not Used >>> ???
01 = DRL Only >>> ???
02 = DRL Position >>> ???
03 = Fixed DRL Position >>> ???
04 = Fixed Position Only >>> ???
05 = Position Only >>> ???
06 = Stop Turn >>> ???

Wanting to know the same information. Did you get a reply. I did not see one.

I haven't tried anything yet I've been taking a break from treasure hunting in ForScan, apologies.

I did some research earlier about it though and I actually might not think this is possible. What I was thinking of was "parking lights as DRL" however our parking lights are white. I haven't seen any proven settings that would allow you to use the turn signal itself as DRL though I do see this option. I'm wondering if 01 would be the change needed. I know I said I was going to try this out but I got lost in other things. No promises but I'll try to give it a shot soon.

I quickly referenced mine, a First Edition and a BaseSquatch and they all have 02 as the default setting.

726-43-01**xxxxxxxx--LF_Turn_Lamp_Ckt_Usage_Cfg: 00=Not Used 01=Turn DRL 02=Turn Only 03=Turn Position 04=Turn Position DRL

726-43-01xx**xxxxxx--RF_Turn_Lamp_Ckt_Usage_Cfg: 00=Not Used 01=Turn DRL 02=Turn Only 03=Turn Position 04=Turn Position DRL
Ahh, so the issue is that on the spreadsheet the number are 726-42**-01. Your values are correct 726-43-01.

its evening and I think that is causing an issue but I was able to get it to work this evening with 04 but I couldntuse my front turn signals which is a problem.

no, and I spent a bit of time a few weeks ago trying all of these setting out. None of them actually changed the behavior of any of the DRL’s, headlights, turn signals, or any other lights. Except for the 06, which did as it advertised, and stopped the turn signals from working and changed the blinker sound to a really fast blink.
