16.9 for the 2dr
20.8 for the 4dr

To me that implies at least 400 mile range for the 4dr less for the 2dr on the 2.7L
That is good news as our FJ only gets 16.5mpg with a 19gallon tank.

I am guessing the 2.7l will get 21-24mpg. Our 2.7L F150s get 19-20mpg
I don't know that the Bronco will get better real world MPG than the F150 with the same engine/transmission. There is a lot that goes into that. Gearing, aero, wheels, etc. For what its worth, I typically get slightly better MPG in a 2.7T F150 than I do with my 2.3T Ranger.

I am assuming less than an F150 crew 5.5' bed with a commercial topper and loaded with hand tools. We have 4 and they average 18-21mpg depending on the driver and use.

These are all 2.7, 10spds with stock size Duratracs, Fab Fours winch mounts and 8k winches and the 36(38?) gallon tank

Terrible range on a tank of fuel is why I’m getting rid of my FJ. A little fuel economy goes a long for road trips.

Heck the low fuel light comes on with 5 gallons left in the tank.. a sure way to raise range anxiety. We have owned it for 14+years. Having to stop for gas every 250 miles is ridiculous. Heck my motorcycle goes farther than that (9gal tank 42mpg)

Ford lists it at 4400 (the Bronco). Which is pretty light, considering.
The FJ in road ready state is about that... I am guessing the Bronco 4dr with options will probably add 400-700lbs (hardtop, auto trans, 2.7L, power seats, bigger tires/wheels etc)

Tire size makes a huge difference in MPG. The square shape of the Bronco can't help. But I don't think people are getting it for the MPG.
I am sure the bronco sport will get great MPG.
Though the bronco will beat my current 4x4 in mpg so as long as it is better I can't complain too much.

20 gal tank for 4door im ok with that. The tire package will be the biggest factor, same issue on the F150s, like my 19 3.5 with stock tires 4x4 I can get 22 mpg hwy going 78, but if you change out the tires, on average it drops a good 3-4mpg.

Hmm that tank size in the two door isn’t ideal. Going to be hard getting used to filling up more than once every two weeks like on my F-150 with the 36 gallon extended range tank.
