BFG used to run a different Raptor Specific AT. Slightly different rubber compound and speed rating. I purchased them at a regular tire store for my JKU

Amen, I could go for 35s but don’t need MTs.
same here. I'm getting the 1st Ed but would much rather a quiet all terrain like my nitto grapplers.

if the wrangler name was an issue, why not just pick out different tires?

I've hated every set of factory installed Goodyears I've ever had. Hoping these are different but unless I hear good things between now and then I see these getting pulled off, sold with minimal miles and a set of Nitto Ridge Grapplers going on.

I like after all the hoopla about tires custom-made for the Bronco, it turns out they just took the name off ?

My work trucks used to all come with Wranglers, very prone to sidewall punctures. I never got a full set of replacements because I was replacing them one at a time from sidewall issues.

I run GY Duratracs on my Gen2 Raptor and ran them on my GEN1 Raptor and it is a great all around tire ... fantastic in the snow.

D rated and very light (61 pounds ... you will not find a lighter 35" tire) compared to other 315/70/17 tires.

That's pretty awesome! Won't most of us prefer BFG tires instead of Goodyears though? I wish there was a Goodyear delete on the Sasquatch package and swap for 35" BFG.
Maybe there will be a General delete on the BD package.

Honestly, I never have and never will associate GY Wranglers with the Jeep Wrangler... But if GY made some Bronco specific tires that were competitively designed, they would retain the market share of the OEM tires for years to come.

Firestone Destination X/T is a 315/70-17 - it weighs 60 lbs and is E rated. The Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 3 is also E rated and weighs 61 lbs.

If you're looking for a M/T, the Destination M/T2 weighs 67lbs, but is also E rated and has 3-ply sidewalls vs. the Duratrac's 2-ply. Weight is always a balance of lightness vs. strength - there's no free lunch out there. If you don't need the puncture resistance and load-carrying ability that an E/3-ply tire gives you, I'm sure the Ds will be great.

Are GY Wranglers and GY Duratracs the same or almost the same?
