x-act contour is rubber and weather beater are plastics.

I had the weather beaters on my RS and I will never use them again. I have the x-act contours over 5 different vehicles and I highly recommend them

So what’s the difference between the exact contour and the weather beater?

Carpet vs rubber floors. Badlands and Black diamond come with rubber floor and have different shape/contour. Ford also offers different liners for these models too.

Where are you getting your numbers? The Weatherbeaters are a lot cheaper than the X Act Contour, $152.95 vs $238.90.

Good catch. They tricked me. With the X act, fronts and backs were two separate items. So when I went to the weather beaters I just added up the first and second item as well, Not noticing the second item was the cargo and the first item contained both front and back.

Not sure which ones all end up getting personally, but I know I'm going to drop the factory ones from my 2022 order. Probably drop the side step as well since it looks like people are going to be coming out with rock sliders soon.

Their website has option for both. Same price for either choice.

Where do you see the options for selecting carpet or vinyl?

I don't see it anymore...I might have seen the factory floor liner options instead of the Husky.

Looks like the Ford floor mats distinguish between carpet & vinyl, but none of the aftermarket floor mats do.

I just sent Husky an email to see what they recommend.

I would like to know the answer as well. Someone earlier in the thread said you have to get the Xact Contour mats for the rubber floor. I am assuming it has more to do with the carpet gripers on the back than the actual shape of the mold. The Weather Beaters have wicked carpet pegs on the back, wondering if they would eventually wear holes into the rubber floor. Seems like they would be easily removed with a grinding wheel, lol.

From Husky:

"If you have carpet flooring both the liners will work for your vehicle. If you have the vinyl we recommend out X-Act Contour brand that way it is rubber floors with rubber liners. Where the Weatherbeaters are made out of a rubberized thermal plastic which makes the stiffer and could slide on the rubber floors. I hope this helps."

Interestingly, WeatherTech asks you if you have carpet or vinyl, so I am suspicious of Husky not doing the same.

Unfortunately, WeatherTech only has trim-to-fit mats for 4 door vinyl floors and not their fitted option, so I think I'll wait it out a bit longer for aftermarket to catch up.

Husky for the win. Weathertech although they run commercials saying they are made in the USA, their quality has gone down over the years since I first put them in my 2011 F150. Husky on the other hand are much thicker and better IMO.
