The Xplan ineligible list is mostly limited specialty cars and commercial vehicles. Not sure why a mass production vehicle like the Bronco is not eligible other than to take advantage of us based on the high reservation numbers.

Per this document (effective October 5, 2020 as noted on the document) posted to the dealer system today, the 2021 Bronco is ineligible for X-Plan and X-Plan Partner discount pricing. It is eligible for AZD Plan discounts, however.

We pulled an earlier thread on this in order to confirm this document with more certainty.

What plan applies to family members of retired employees? My dad worked for our small town dealer for 49 years. Hard to believe, I know.

The more my head processes this news, the more I believe the X-Plan is open to reservation holders, but not on dealer stock Broncos, or future reservations.

There is nothing about this on ford.ca site. So possibly it’s a US thing. Tho they could just be slow pushing it to Canada as well.

So all the dealers on the master list who have said to be accepting X Plan are full of sh@t. Car salesman not telling the truth is shocking!

That's not true. X-Plan is a pricing plan Ford offers for vendors and suppliers. Dealerships can choose whether or not to accept X-Plan. The dealers that have openly stated they will accept X-Plan pricing have no control over what products Ford offers X-Plan on. They were being honest in saying they would honor, if available. It's not the dealer's fault that Ford isn't offering it.

I mean, you have to think, why would Ford ever consider offering X Plan on the 2021 Bronco in the first place? All orders are with reservation holders, and they have more than enough cushion for fall-out based on their production capabilities.

TBH if Ford could adapt the Tim Cook Apple launch and manufacturing strategy, everyone would have Broncos on day one and they would spend less than 10 days on dealer lots. But instead we get... whatever this rollout is...

Z-Plan. There are some rules about who can use their Z-Plan if they are eligible.
