I've read all the way thorough and nothing from them. They're likely keeping a low profile, since their name has been getting dragged through the mud. Not sure how X plan ties to them, but many think Ford is responding to the way they are operating and made the other changes.
So little ol Granger Ford in Des Moines, IA, is to blame for this mess. Really? A small town dealership caused all this. I have a hard time buying it.

Ford builds the vehicle and sells it for a price cheaper than Granger is selling them. What’s the issue? Ford offers a program that dealers participate in or not, pretty simple really. Problem is.... greed. All parties involved are trying to make money or save the most money they can.

I think it’s interesting that the little guy is taking heat by, wait for it... making less money! Lol. Who loses? The large dealership that wants to have the most profit possible and limit transparency. That’s driving this. FoMoCo will make their money either way.

Good luck with the search, but do not make any rash decisions....you still have time to see how all this percolates. Stay the course for at least a couple more weeks or you will be kicking yourself in the face every time you see one on the road.....eventually.

Just an old man's opinion.... (y)
I agree. I'm pissed now, but I'll wait a month or two to see how this all pans out.

I replied too. Oh well. Does nothing. I'm honestly bummed out pretty hard right now. Lets Build and Price and then start talking to the dealer to get their best deal. Exactly what I wanted to avoid.

I can just picture people changing to 2022 and 2023 models and leave a few months production left for the 21's. If that happens, Ford will change the rules again.

Official Ford Panic response from an internal memo that has gone out. See full message below:

Bronco Specialists,

We learned today that information regarding Bronco and X-Plan inadvertently leaked. This information was being prepared to be shared along with additional details tied to the Build and Price launch this Friday, October 23.

Our official statement on the topic is:
Due to unprecedented demand and limited supply Bronco two- and four- door models will NOT be eligible for X-plan in 21MY. This is similar to other limited supply vehicles like F-150 Raptor, Mustang Shelby models. Bronco will offer AZD Plan pricing for all series except limited-run First Edition.

Additionally, below is a brief Q&A that provides direction on answering dealer/customer questions that may arise.

Will Bronco two- and four- door offer AXZD Plan pricing? Bronco will offer AZD (A = Employee, Z = Ford Retiree, D = Dealer) Plan pricing for all series except limited-run First Edition. X-plan (X = Friends & Family) will NOT be offered on any Bronco two- and four- door for the 21MY.

Why are you excluding X-Plan pricing for Bronco?Due to unprecedented demand and limited supply Bronco two- and four- door will NOT be eligible for X-plan in 21MY. This is similar to other limited supply vehicles like F150 Raptor, Mustang Shelby

Why are you announcing this now? We are announcing this at same time as our full pricing and Build and Price release on Bronco two- and four- door

I have already generated an X-Plan pin, can I use it? PINs are not specific to a vehicle and can be used on any eligible vehicle.

Will Bronco Sport offer AXZD Plan pricing? Yes. Bronco Sport offers AXZD Plan pricing for all serie

What does Ford Stand for:

Found on road dead.
F... ORDer holders.

Thanks Mike and new CEO. I’m buying a Toyota Or Jeep for $10k less without a plastic oil pan.

While this is disappointing, it shouldn't really surprise anyone. I think the reputable dealerships knew this was coming. My dealership was already offering discounts on the add-on options. Friday I received an email from the dealership letting me know that B&P was about to open and to let me know they we sending something special in the mail as part of this process. Who knows, it could just be a Bronco sticker but I suspect it will be more buy incentives. Don't give up on trying to get the best deal you can. There are other ways to sweeten your deal than with just the X plan.

If you got MCA membership for Xplan you should probably activate the PIN now and print it out. Some dealers will still honor Xplan pricing even if Ford is not offering it. I would print out an Xplan PIN now just in case MCA changes there program and does not offer Xplan moving forward
i don't understand why one would do this? the Xplan applies to many other vehicles (including mustangs).

Ford Bronco 2021 Bronco NOT Eligible For X-Plan (Official Document Confirmation) [Update: Confirmed by Ford] 1603153251021

In all seriousness this does suck for people hoping to use x-plan, but shop around-you still have buying power. You have until Jan 31st to change dealers(has been confirmed multiple times, no matter what another thread may say), and a lot of things can change between now and then.(Oh and even if you’ve already changed dealers once BN says you can change a 2nd time now) Goosfraba
Well on another note if you're that pissed off, the new Hummer will be released in less than 24 hours... https://www.gmc.com/electric-truck/hummer-ev

Bad timing for Ford.... good timing for Hummer
If people were relying on x-plan to be able to get a Bronco within their budget, then a new hummer is going to be out of the question.

Go through the thread. It’s confirmed now by Ford.

“Due to unprecedented demand and limited supply Bronco 2- and 4- door models will not be eligible for X-plan in 21MY. This is similar to other limited supply vehicles like F-150 Raptor, Mustang Shelby models. Bronco will offer AZD Plan pricing for all series except First Edition.”
Bullshit! They’re planning on this being a relatively high volume vehicle. This is not in anyway comparable to the cars listed. You don’t plan on taking on the wrangler with a limited supply Bronco. They’ll build as many as they can sell. In 3 years these will be EVERYWHERE.
I’ve just about decided I’m out. When there’s some sitting on lots in a year I’ll make a deal with a local dealership, probably. Never paid sticker for a car, no reason to start with this, just to be first.

They can give you equivalent pricing though....
I hope your right. I guess anything is possible? I'll wait to see what might happen in the next month or two. I'm just butt hurt right now. Maybe my Dealer will come up with something? If not? I'll look into transferring my reservation to the Texas Group Buy, or another Dealer that will offer the best deal for me.

I wish I had twitter. I'd give Ford a piece of my mind for lieing to their current and potential new owners. But a hand written letter will have to do.

A Dealer can't honor X Plan if Ford doesn't make the vehicle eligible.
Sort of. They cannot officially offer an X-plan if not supported by Ford corporate, but they can offer a price close to or meeting the X-plan price if they want to.
Growing up, my family would buy cars through Ford and a few times we didn’t have access to an A/X/Z plan. The dealer we always bought from would often meetor get close to the plan price.
