Official Ford Panic response from an internal memo that has gone out. See full message below:

Bronco Specialists,

We learned today that information regarding Bronco and X-Plan inadvertently leaked. This information was being prepared to be shared along with additional details tied to the Build and Price launch this Friday, October 23.

Our official statement on the topic is:
Due to unprecedented demand and limited supply Bronco two- and four- door models will NOT be eligible for X-plan in 21MY. This is similar to other limited supply vehicles like F-150 Raptor, Mustang Shelby models. Bronco will offer AZD Plan pricing for all series except limited-run First Edition.

Additionally, below is a brief Q&A that provides direction on answering dealer/customer questions that may arise.

Will Bronco two- and four- door offer AXZD Plan pricing? Bronco will offer AZD (A = Employee, Z = Ford Retiree, D = Dealer) Plan pricing for all series except limited-run First Edition. X-plan (X = Friends & Family) will NOT be offered on any Bronco two- and four- door for the 21MY.

Why are you excluding X-Plan pricing for Bronco?Due to unprecedented demand and limited supply Bronco two- and four- door will NOT be eligible for X-plan in 21MY. This is similar to other limited supply vehicles like F150 Raptor, Mustang Shelby

Why are you announcing this now? We are announcing this at same time as our full pricing and Build and Price release on Bronco two- and four- door

I have already generated an X-Plan pin, can I use it? PINs are not specific to a vehicle and can be used on any eligible vehicle.

Will Bronco Sport offer AXZD Plan pricing? Yes. Bronco Sport offers AXZD Plan pricing for all serie
Haha Mike Levine is just regurgitating the official response in his tweets.

We are all early adopters and helping this product get promoted. Having max units out on the streets is the best advertisement they can get. If MCA has a discount don't penalize the members. Only true Ford family knows and would join, why punish loyal brand users. Could be my 6th Ford. I'm not at all happy and the price point does matter. Make these decisions up front. In a year are you going to let MCA use discount. I'm not happy. Loyalty is a two way Street.
They’re definitely going to allow the x plan later as sales slow. They know they’ll sell every bronco they make the first year so they won’t bother.

The savings aren't huge, it's the fact you don't have to play the stupid dealer games with X-Plan that pisses me off. I refuse to sit in any dealership for 3 hours only for them to tell me $10k ADM is the "BEST" they can do. The whole point of me being a stockholder was so I didn't need to play the games by using the shareholder X-Plan.

This feels like the big dealers $&%*#$ us again
Do all the dealership work via email. Give them your out the door price, go in only to sign papers if needed. It’s such an easier process.

Oh god do you have an iPhone?

I thought they finally made it so apps don't fill up your screens anymore? You know, like Android has done for ages? Or am I mistaken on that?

Come on man.... Some things are more important that a cluttered phone... If I can join Twitter as of about an hour ago... So can you! ?
To be fair, Twitter is a cesspool. Everyone mistakenly believes that a blue checkmark makes someone a reliable source. I'm also not a fan of the unmutable "Suggested for you" tweets about politics / celebrities. I follow @KwikTrip and @LoneBlockbuster, and that's it.

My dealer sent out an email pretty quickly saying they would honor X plan pricing.

“ Good afternoon all,

We at Kearny Mesa Ford have tried our best to be completely transparent regarding our pricing policies with all of you from the very beginning. Our commitments were clear to all reservation holders: We are not going to mark up the price above MSRP, we will accept all Ford sponsored discounts (X/Z/A/D Plan), and we will not add any additional equipment or accessories without request.

As some of you know already, Ford announced today that the full size Bronco will not qualify for Xplan discounts. Xplan is typically for employees of companies which partner with Ford. The Bronco will still qualify for Z/A/D plan though. Needless to say this came as a big surprise to all of us. I have personally spoken to well over 100 of you and I understand just how important this factor was in your decision to do business with us.

In response to this, we have internally made the decision that we will still honor the Xplan discount for anybody who can provide a valid PIN when it comes time to complete the purchase. This will just be for your individual special order and will not be offered on any stock Broncos. We will use typical Xplan pricing from like-priced Fords to approximate what the discount would have been. This will also disqualify our dealership from the reimbursement we would typically see from doing an Xplan deal, but following through on our commitments is more important than that.”

Got my pin today. We will see what happens.
Well done to this dealership team! @EricAtKearnyMesaFord I'm thinking that you folks will have some really good karma going into the universal karma bank.

With demand as high as it is, I figured it would be ineglible, but It's still early they could add it.

I would just like to say the ellipsis is not a period.

Thank you

The ellipsis is most commonly represented by three periods (. . . ) although it is occasionally demonstrated with three asterisks (***). The ellipsis is used in writing or printing to indicate an omission, especially of letters or words. Ellipses are frequently used within quotations to jump from one phrase to another, omitting unnecessary words that do not interfere with the meaning. Students writing research papers or newspapers quoting parts of speeches will often employ ellipsis to avoid copying lengthy text that is not needed.

Omission of words: She began to count, "One, two, three, four…" until she got to 10, then went to find him.

Within a quotation: When Newton stated, "An object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion stays in motion..." he developed the law of motion.

Also, glad I didn’t have an X-plan I was depending on.

as a person who uses those thingies all the time and with all due respect....fuck off :)

I think with today’s news there are going to be a ton of people switching dealers. I also believe we have a real shot at making 100 pages. What is the most a thread has made it to? Does anyone know?

This would be a great time for them to soft launch/test B&P. I think everyone is so discouraged they can care less about checking ford.com.
Ok, I admit it, I just checked. :p Still not working....

Problem is dealers around me never commit with management. They want you to walk in sit you down and beat you into submission after they got you in the door. I've played the sales game agreed to an OTD price only to have them go well x manager didn't approve and I just walk back out having wasted my time. Or better yet work something out and have them tell you they sold it when you show up but have something similar only to start all over again.
