Love the exterior of the BD, strongly dislike the roast leather interior on the OB.

One of the primary reasons I love the BD and BL is the MGV interior that comes standard. I think it looks sharp.
I was originally going Outer Banks but after a million miles I couldn’t sit in another blue delta seat and I couldn’t come to grips with the roast’s bronze dash!
So I went Badlands with MGV!

The color choices are fine, but the materials look so incredibly cheap. Hard pass. I'd be pissed if I spent extra to "upgrade" to this.

TBH I am not even convinced that the leather is actually leather. It looks so fake.

Suspect that we all need to take a crumpled paper back and hold it over the mouth and nose and take several deep breathes.

Have seen pictures where the Roast looks great and others that it looks bad like a big dog barfed inside the Bronco. Reality is in pre-production units colours may not be true and I am hoping (really hoping) that production models all display the same tones of plastic through out the complete car and not several panels of different colours.

As my unit is an OBX in Velocity blue, I am hoping that the interior accent details on the OBX (blue accents on grab handles and blue stitching on the Roast seats) all hang together and maybe even look good. Just hoping.
I think you’ll be more than happy with those color choices. I didn’t even notice the blue thread in the seats until I looks really close. As for the grab handles, if those really bother you you can always swap them out. I agree with you totally and I think people should see these in person and then make their decisions

I am not going to pony up my nice Rubicon plus another 20K$ just to get colors and interior that is just almost OK. They really need to do some more work on that interior. wait till we see actual production units.

Great camra work, 4k is poppin. I was also at this Bronco showing, even made a few cameo appearances in the background of this video, lol.

The OBX in Shadow Black was the stand out for me, although I thought the 32" tires looked kinda small revealing a lot of wheel well. Pleanty of room for 35's. In shade lighting the Black paint was gleaming and shining much more than the Cactus Gray, the Gray seemed flat.

Roast leather interior presents better in person then in pics, I warmed up to the colors and by the end I lked it. Seats and stering wheel felt good, better than expected. 12" screen is nice, easy to read. I'll have to get used to the instrument cluster with all the "pop-up" windows.

Overall very impressed and glad I finally laid eyes and hands on a live Bronco. I'm feeling much more at ease with my site unseen 60k purchase.

Great video. Still planning on the ‘22 OBX so very interested in this walkthrough. Read the comments and there are either a lot of OCD folks here, or my tastes are eclectic, or they’re taking it all in better, or I see what others don’t. Maybe a combo of all the above... Re: the blue accents, I thought they tied in nicely with the blue 12” screen display color and all the blue tone in the various buttons. The bronze dash seemed to compliment to the roast leather, but I’d like to see in person to be sure. So the leather roast is growing on me, but I’m still on the fence. I’ve never liked the OBX wheels or tires (has anyone?) and would be all over a 33” tire option in ‘22, like GY Wrangler Duratrac 275/70/R18 (D load). Someone a lot smarter than me on another thread did the calcs and thought they’d work. I think those tires would make the wheels palatable. I‘ll probably have to go aftermarket, but it is what it is. Re: the Cactus Gray on the other rig, I thought it looked pretty good! Better than it’s updated B&P color.

Mismatched with what from your perspective? I'm torn; getting navy leather w/ A51, but starting to feel that will be blue on blue on blue... But like you, think roast is kind of mismatched. Dammit. Probably getting MY22 anyway so hopefully they add some more options or that mystical green we're hearing about.
Im getting the roast leather on my OBX. A51, but may change back to Orange.

I've had the same thoughts about OBX. I think you have your tire sizes wrong. A 275/65R18 is still a 32" tire, its just .5" wider in most makes and the aspect ratio is a little shorter than the stock OBX 255/70R18. A 275/70R18 will give you a 33" tire, a half inch wider, according to my research.
I do mostly beach sand driving, and you usually need a minimum 65 or 70 aspect ratio to be high enough (rubber not hit rim) to safely air down to the 15-20 lbs most beaches require (Cape Cod & Cape Hatteras National Seashore, eg).

I may upgrade to the 275/70R18 or similar, assuming the car can handle the extra 20# per tire and for on the stock 18" rims.
