New 4Runners are bloated pigs. My one complaint is they made these way too big, it's going to limit the trails I can go down without destroying the body.

Well lucky you the 4Runner is larger than Bronco. I wish the Bronco was at least 4Runner sized lol.

If it's like the f150 at all it will down shift if the mph starts to overrun the cruise control setting. Recent trip through some hill country running 80 mph my truck would downshift to 7th up the hill because they are short and quite steep so causes sudden drop(longer grades were fine without downshifting at all), upshift back to 10th at the top, and downshift again going down the backside to keep from overrunning. After a couple hills like this I clicked into sport mode and it stopped most of this action on these short quick steep hills of southern Missouri.

Oh god. What's the deal with the floor vents in regards to A/C (not heat)? They dont blow A/C unless you have it on defrost or the fan blowing down to the footwells?

Texas probably doesn't have the tight forest trails we have. In more open terrain it will be fine, but I don't dare take this to Evan's Creek. XJs are a tight squeeze on some of those trails.

Glad to hear this! Had a feeling the government results were low for a highway driver. My f150 has the 3.5 eco boost and 10 speed, and gets 23-24. Drops quite a bit in the winter, but still…

I don't know that it's quite as wide as the 4runner, but it is on the same scale in width and height for sure.

I have found the Ford MPG system to be overly optimistic. On my Raptor it is typically 2-3 MPG higher on the computer than it is by hand.

We need more overly optimistic things in this world... I say bravo, Ford.
