How is this saying five inches shorter in length than a 4Runner, yet having five inches MORE rear seat legroom? That's a MASSIVE increase in rear seat room. And the 4Runner has pretty good room for the back seat.

That's...Off.

Only thing I would note would be the base engine for the Bronco. Do we know it will be the 2.7 V6 or the 2.3L 4cyl? For the Wrangler the 3.6L is the base motor. One would assume the 2.3L will be the Bronco? Not sure if this has been confirmed but that would still give the Bronco a slight advantage in base trim.

It's very very likely that the 2.3 will be the base engine with an ecoboost V6 of some form, probably the 2.7 as the upgrade. Nothing officially confirmed, but there's been enough circumstantial evidence and insiders claiming it to make it a good bet.

4Runner 2nd row seats are very far forward. Hence the much larger cargo area and optional 3rd row.

2.3 has been leaked and a no brainer with the 2.3 Ranger. Which already makes it best in class torque even over the 2.0 wrangler.
the 2.7 has been heavily rumored and the engineers behind the Bronco R stated that the race trucks engine was ”derived from the stock motor” and it was a v6tt. safe bet is the second generation2.7 from the f150

Five more inches is massive though. 4Runner lists something like an inch more rear legroom than a Tacoma, but in function, the 4Runner can seat four 6 footers easily. Tacoma...Maybe one lol.

Great comparison table, thank you. Why did you estimate the Bronco Front Legroom at only 41" yet you show the Ranger at 43"?

For us tall or long legged people we need more then 41".

Newer cars sit up higher than older ones. Leg room includes vertical leg room. For instance my new work truck 2019 Chevy the front seat is closer to the wheel than my old 2008. But yet has more legroom because it sits higher.

tacoma has over 43” leg room yet 4Runner is just under 42” a lot has to do with arrangement and vertical leg room vs length leg room.

All specs are from manufacturers spec sheets. The estimated number (noted with a “*”) are estimates using visual drawing tools, as well as trends in the segment.

Also note that numbers are rounded because who cares about 0.3”
