The event takes place October 7-10 at the Heritage Center in Townsend, Tennessee. That’s my understanding and is consistent with how it appears to have worked for their event recently in Buena Vista, Colorado. You only have to register if you want a slot to park a Bronco on event grounds. Otherwise, just show up. I’m coming from the Dallas area.
NOTE: Their web site seems to be targeted at long-term Bronco enthusiasts and leaves a few things murky for those of us that are new to their world. It’s even a bit difficult to determine exactly where the event occurs. I had to infer it from the host hotel being located in Townsend, TN.
There is an email address on the www.broncodriver.com website where you can ask this.So any idea about dogs being allowed on the show grounds?
Going to be traveling thru the area at this time and he is going with me.
Dont want to leave him in the car while I go looking for the new bronco.
Or waste my time coming and being turned away.
I believe this is the 21st year the event has been held in TN.Is this going to be a yearly event?
its usually in the Spring, but was moved this year which works out anyways. Is this going to be a yearly event?
I think it would be better in the Fall. The Fall is just such a magical time off year. Especially when the leaves tart changing colors. Hopefully it stays in the Fall. Although I doubt the leaves are changing yet down that way?its usually in the Spring, but was moved this year which works out anyways.
they are starting to at the higher elevations prolly 2-3 weeks out so its going to be really good for the Bronco event. We have a cold snap coming after today so that will really start moving themI think it would be better in the Fall. The Fall is just such a magical time off year. Thanks for the clarification. And first-timers are free to show up without pre-registering anything? The event takes place October 7-10 at the Heritage Center in Townsend, Tennessee.
If they switch the event to the Fall ill be down next year if I get my Bronco by then. I love the Smokey Mountains.they are starting to at the higher elevations prolly 2-3 weeks out so its going to be really good for the Bronco event. It sounds like it but don’t quote me on that. Lol. I’m in the same boat you are. I just want to see the new Broncos and that’s it.Thanks for the clarification. And first-timers are free to show up without pre-registering anything?
I'd be lying if I said the only reason I'm considering going is to see the new bronco in person. Not that I wouldn't like the rest of the event, but if I can see the bronco before I drop $40k+ on it, I will
Yep, should be pretty cool in a couple of weeks.they are starting to at the higher elevations prolly 2-3 weeks out so its going to be really good for the Bronco event. We have a cold snap coming after today so that will really start moving them
Yes free unless you are a vendor or are entering the car show as a contestant.Am I understanding this correctly?
Free to spectators... Meaning I can just show up, walk around, check out the new broncos, talk to Ford reps, etc... correct?
I'd hate to drive 7 hours to find out I didn't pre-register or buy a ticket before they sold out
We have a frost warning for next week here near TN line on NC side.Leaves are just starting to turn on the edges of the leaves.I am at 3600" elevationYep, should be pretty cool in a couple of weeks.
Starting to see the maples and Poplars going yellow here.
