I cannot get any local tire shops to install my rims and tires. They are saying the rim and tire combination is way too big to fit on the car. Any thoughts from other people that have 22 inch rims and 35 inch tires. I will add the rims have a 57 mm offset and the tires are Nitto ridge grappler’s

Won’t fit the most I’ve seen is 20x10s on 35s and you have to remove the crash bars on a 2inch lift. I’m running 20x10s negative 25 offset on 33s 2 inch lift

Don’t let the haters get you down. It’s your truck - make it YOURS. I’m sure every Bronco you will see will have something done or not done that you like or don’t like. If you can’t say something nice, say nothing at all. If we couldn’t do 1000 things to these, they’d all be the same and we’d just have the Jeep guys hating us. I say, “Go for it!”.

good luck getting any useful information back from your query from this group of die hard off roaders.
I hope that you have thick skin.
Your style preferences will be in the minority within this forum , and probably bring mostly teasing, puke emoji, and comments about what a "proper" off road vehicle looks like, and how to properly use said vehicle.

In my personal opinion this is going to look awful, but I'll make an effort to be helpful.

Is the offset +57 or -57? Both would be a fitment issue. +57 is going to crowd the wheel much closer to the vehicle than factory equipped 35s, and -57 is going to push the wheel so far out that it swings into the body on turns.

So for what it is worth ......... A 35 inch tire is a 35 inch tire no matter what size the rim is .......... IT IS STILL A 35 INCH TIRE. That said I think 35's fit most all Broncos.

What the problem is a low profile (small sidewall) tire is very hard to mount and next thing you know the rim is damaged. Many shops won't touch them for just that reason, next thing you know you have to buy the guy a rim because the tire was PITA to mount. Some tire machines do not have the ability to mount them. Fancy stuff requires fancy tools that come with a fancy price.

For the record We do not mount them in our shop. One reason is the machine is old and struggles to mount the tires because they have NO give in the sidewall. And number two we have bought enough wheels, trying to make the customer happy that now we just NO.

I would try mounting the wheel without the tire in front and check for clearances with the suspension.

It sounds like it should work. But you may end up needing 1” spacers.

Agree it will be issue. My bet is with the depth on that dish it’s -57 offset. Which will probably be a 6 Gen record for poke.

To each is own but OP you may want to find a new set with a lot less negative offset.

Or more lift. It might take a 4-6" lift to clear.

Those wheels are Vision Wheels and their website shows these to be 22x12 and a -57 offset which is a super aggressive offset. That’s the first issue.
The second issue is that specific tire size he has, 35x12.50R22 is not recommended for mounting on a 12” wide wheel. Nitto’s website specifically says that the approved rim width for that tire size should be between 8.5” - 11”, with 10” wide being the ideal width.

No reputable shop/Big Name Companies like Discount Tire, NTB, or Firestone will mount that specific tire size on a 12” wide wheel because it’s not recommended. This has nothing to do with the type of vehicle it’s going on. You will have to find a mom and pop shop to that doesn’t care about what’s recommended. They tend to go outside of what’s recommended in order to gain business.
