I am not cut out for this level of suspense. . .

I'm cool with the flares. Also looks like the door window frames are essentially built into the roll cage structure. And the soft top kind of fixes over it. So there might be a larger roll cage sort of structure, which I'm fine with if not too obtrusive. (Assuming the photo is legit.)Maybe I'm in the minority but I like those flares.
Also, they meet up well with the front and rear bumpers and they're radiused on both sides. They look like the real thing. Maybe different versions will have different finishes.
I love this forum. Even if you're pulling our legFriend just ran photo forensics on it, this checks that the compression is about the same throughout the photo. Any discrepancy would indicate photoshop. He stated that it looks authentic.
Let me just say it doesn't matter whether its a render or not because this is it lol. I think what makes it look "off" is just the low resolution of the picture.
(I hope this doesn't get me in trouble, but hey, I did my part! I didn't take the photos!)

Me too. Guess we’ll see what options we get. Always aftermarket too.I’m trying to decide how I feel about those flares.
