I get what an Easter Egg is, I just don't see the deciphering of 2069?
I think they are referring to the 2069 number on the Bronco R being the reveal date (June 9 2020). Unless I'm missing something else.

So you go from ABSOLUTELY HIDEOUS (all caps) to "isn't that bad" in the same post.

Did you catch the part that the 2 door picture is of a clay model?

I gotta say, while I am a big fan of manual trans, SWB 2-doors, the Pajero already fits that bill and the SUV we're replacing is a Jeep ZJ. Taking a look at the rifle case I just bought, and thinking about how incredibly comfortable the ZJ is to drive around and how good it is on road trips and how much crap I can carry in it ... I'm really feeling a pull towards the 10-speed automatic 4 door Bronco. It looks so much better than a 4 door wrangler and it really looks like I could pack a lot of gear in the back.

I'll have to test drive all the options to be sure, but that's where I'm leaning right now.

To each his own I suppose but I really like the 2-door.

I have always been a fan of shooting brakes like the BMW M-coupe and the Ferrari FF.

This is a boxy, rugged, off-roady .. shooting brake. :)

Now it just needs the 2.7EB and my only quandary will be 10-speed auto or 7-speed manual..

the FSB tailgate and window were very different angles.
It was also very thick. That swing-gate doesn't look nearly as voluminous for capturing a window lowering at a non-parallel approach. The top edge of the gate in the forbidden pictures is quite narrow.

I'm hoping there's in-floor or under rear seat storage. Specifically...I want it for firearms

March 9th was the 69th day of 2020.
the "2069" number on the side of the Bronco R, which is a nod to the truck's race class (20) and the year (1969) of Hall's win

LMAO. Now I feel all dirty and stuff like when I get caught watching porn... when you use words like forbidden ?
But on topic, I was hoping for the roll down rear window myself, just another way to separate from the Jeeps.

I am actually surprised at the Jeep culture. It is very much 50/50, some are fine, but some are horrible.
There is a Facebook group for Off-road, called AZ Jeepers. A member recently sold their jeep and bought a 4Runner, people are telling them to leave the group as it is called "jeepers" for a reason. To me that's bs, and an off-road group should be open to any. Same for how people without wranglers are looked down on, or depending on the year of your wrangler you are looked at different.y. To me it's about capability and having fun. Who cares how you get there as far as brand or model.

You mean like they did to people who voted for Trump ????

I agree 'if ya got it wheel it" it's there for fun who cares what anybody says.
