I was doing some searching and it does seem to suggest that the Dominator Extreme DSS are actual rock sliders.

From the picture it looks like they are not tied to the frame but just the pinch weld?

Can't seem to find installation directions.

I'm considering some of the DSS type for my October delivery Bronco. Are these an easy to do home install? Or should I ask the dealer to do it?

I think you could tackle this no problem.

We will have a video in the coming weekings. They bolt on!

Nice yeah let us know. All I need is a rock slider alternative and I'll pull my tube steps from my Order.

But when something says Slider style, to me that means it looks the part, but can't play it.
Agree with what your saying.

I my case, I haven’t done any full weight sliding, but having the tube thickness with clearance to take trail dinging and scraping as you drive over rocks, and the door / B Pilar standoff protection.

Most tube steps won’t take the punishment and last long.

Would be nice to have at least partial weight loading, and offer a hi-lift Jack point.

Very interested in the Extreme DSS, I have a Badlands inbound, so I'd have to remove my factory rock rails and still want to know what sort of protection these offer compared to those.

We have had an amazing amount of orders the past few days on GO Rhino Side Steps!

I have talked with them on the inventory issue and they are reforecasting to have this corrected before the end of October!

Those with backorders we have found some kits and have them headed our way to get you all taken care of!

If placing a new order (which i recommend as the next batch does not have many bracket sets left) we will keep you updated and informed of the ETA's and delay!

As always we appreciate the support and allowing us into your community!

🚨UPDATE🚨

To all of those who who ordered Go Rhino steps from us, first and foremost thank you for your order! I do have an update I'd like to share with everyone. Go Rhino Mounting Brackets are in, however we are still a few weeks out on the steps themselves. We hope to have everything in hand, ready to ship before the end of the month!

Anyone knows if the DSS are wider than the DS or same but just different plate length?

Thanks!

Just heard back. The mounts and sliders will support the weight of the bronco. They said the only concern they have is its a bolt on unit to the stock frame area & that would be the weakest point.

Hope this helps! We will be doing a full review and install of the DSS in the coming weeks!
I know this is an older post but I'm researching the DS and DSS Sliders and was curious if you ever tested to see if these are truly sliders that can hold the entire vehicle weight. Also, how do these compare to the Carbs on your site?

We have not had a chance to take these to the test yet. With SEMA just over and holidays approaching we may not have time till next year.

What do you mean by compare to the carbs on the site? Sorry if I misunderstood your question

Sorry, autocorrect isn't great with names. I meant the ARB sliders...
