We really need to have some more 2022 owners chime in on this. Seems weird that Ford would make a change like this and not say a word. Seems like something they would want to brag about.
Another no win situation for Ford. "Ford announces rear sway bar for '22"": Half the '21 buyers will bitch 'cause they didn't get it and half the '22's will complain it limits articulation and tear it off.

Damn. I just went out to confirm. My 21 base Sasquatch 4 door doesn’t have one.

On the jeeps, the rear doesn’t disconnect; just tue front. The small tears don’t really affect articulation much on the jeeps.

Can you see part numbers on rear springs and shocks? Just to compare to my 2022.

Valid point. Guess they started putting them on and hoped no one would notice.

No towing package and sasquatch is the offroad package. Where's this leave the Badlands? A sway bar will hurt articulation. Badlands get disconnecting front and rear now?

Does your window sticker show something about the rear sway bar?
What's your max weight on the door sticker?

So no increase over the 2021 it looks like. Be curious to find out if the shocks and springs are different. Maybe lighter springs and or valving. Rear bar added to regain stability lost from more compliment shocks.

I don’t know much yet about IFS I’ve always had jeeps but I’d try it first offroad with the rear swaybar and see how it does. I found this video it’s a jeep so might not act the same as with ifs in the front but still a interesting video.

I doubt they want to advertise the limiting of articulation, but the highway only crowd should be pleased.

The ramp isn't rear world conditions but it does give you a very repeatable test. I want to see him back up the ramp and see what happens. This is interesting though.

In the name of science I may have to do some testing with a fork lift. Since I don't have a ramp.

3 points make a plane. So the test with the front drivers side pushes the suspension the same as backing up it with the rear passenger side.

Can I get a "Sway bar for dummies" picture as I know about what I need/want with this vehicle and not much more but it is a 22 and would be interesting to know if I have this. (more rabbit holes to go down)

It will do a lot more than you realize.
I daily drove a jeep XJ for a few years. First thing I did was remove the rear swaybar, and it made littleto no difference. These aren't sportscars. I'm sure it wasn't an oversight by Ford to not include them on the 2021s.

I just hope it makes a Antirock setup easier.

I emailed them a few weeks back. They didn't have any plans to support the Bronco in any official capacity at that time. Unless you are going to get one and figure out fitment when you get it in. It's just a swaybar, probably wouldn't be too bad to do a semi-custom mounting system

Could the rear sway bar shown be part of a factory trailer tow package? Can the folks with and without the rear bar comment on if their build includes the tow package?
