I thought I remembered reading that the bronco didn't have a rear sway bar. Early chassis photos show no sway bar. Just peaked under my 2022 Basesquatch and it has a rear sway bar.

Edit: BaseSquatch, 4 door ,2.7, soft top, mod bumper, aux switches, door bags. Built 12/23/2021

So no tow package and no roof rails.

I think that’s the trailing arm, if I’m looking at the image correctly… connection point for the axle to the chassis.

A sway bar connects left and right sides of an axle to prevent sway.

Look at the two pictures. Preproduction photo has no sway bar. My bronco has a sway bar.

I am not talking about any other suspension part.

All I could find from using search was @D2dhanover mentioning it. Maybe he has some insight.

Interesting.🤷🏼‍♂️ I definitely don’t have that on my ‘21 2-door base model.

Did you get the rear disconnect as well?

Do you think they did this to allow more capacity for roof load. My 21 Badlands does not have this.

Yes I can definitely confirm this is the rear sway bar. However I wasn’t aware of it being an added piece of hardware for 2022. This is news to me as I always assumed it was reserved for the upcoming Everglades trim but very well might be more common than that.

I would like to see others be able to confirm the presence. There’s quite a few quiet changes made for 2022 I’ve noticed. Another neat thing I really am glad they did are the body color SecuriCode pads now. There was something else small but I forget at the moment.

This however is a fairly decent sized change and I’m wondering if you may have a unicorn.
What other quiet changes have you seen?

Interesting, idk if this would even make sense but would you/could you disconnect the rear sway and leave the front connected in IFS for different type of travel. You wouldn't want to disconnect both for stability reasons right?

I removed and threw away both sway bars on my 87 Bronco, it wasn’t unstable.

youre right! On my phone my eyes kept going to the in focus trailing arm, and skipped the sway bar and end links!

Why are we all in shock? We saw one guy get "Raptor" floor mats added to his Bronco... This is probably an accidental Raptor part installed :ROFLMAO:
