So much negative attention placed on the MIC1 roof. Hello! There is a soft top. In one breath it is the best manual SUV the editor has ever driven and in the next breath it is not the best...huh? Totally confused editors writing a confusing little critic.
There is a soft top? ;)

Yeah, that's one of the things that has really gotten complements as far as i have seen, so i don't understand. If you look at the Bronco sport bit for SUV of the year, they say they would rather have the sport than the big bronco, so that tells you a bunch.

To clarify I believe the editor said it was the best MANUAL he has ever driven in a 4x4 - not the best manual SUV he has ever driven.
I do think they hit the nail on the head (yet missed the whole point of the Bronco) when they said the Bronco didn’t feel ready for the masses - it’s not intended for the masses. It is an off-road speciality vehicle.

Most of the comments seemed fair. I really think they wanted to love it. Ride as a con is baffling, though.

This was nice to read: We all loved the manual in the four-cylinder, two-door version, with editorial director Ed Loh saying, "I can't remember when I've driven a better manual transmission in a real 4x4."

Ride quality though - Bronco is a compromise for pavement driving. If the reviewers were comparing to other vehicles aimed more at pavement, then it makes some sense if they ding the Bronco ride. For the record, I thought the 2 door road fine on pavement, for the class of vehicle.

Sorry to paraphrase an article - next time I will copy and paste. BTW, Ford also categorizes it as SUV:

...and you misspelled specialty.

My new edge mustang does the same thing with frameless windows. It's done it since day 1. It's not a quality issue imo, it's just an unfortunate thing that happens with the design choice they made.

No problem here, I like the frameless doors, saves buying 1/2 doors ;)

Motor Trend started the SUV of the Year this past week.

I dont put to much apple into what they say. But I find it odd they praised the Bronco so much on the first drive reviews and all but yet bash it in the of the year awards.
