why do you think they are doing that?
They are putting in a limited run model. It’s not going to be in the “mass” produced raptor. There is two many regulations that effectively limit the ability of car makers to install a v8, from emissions and cafe standards. I love V8 but there are plenty of blown v-6 and 4 bangers that put V8 to shame in power and delivery. And let’s not forget the weight penalty associated with using that motor. The only reason jeep stick a V8 in the wrangler is to stay relevant with the bronco. They’ve had 20 years to do it and didn’t.
