Raptor base is expected to be 65k to start out, I'm sure optioned out it will go up, but no where near 200k. Probably won't hit 100k loaded.

I put in MSRP because that's what it should be. Can't predict what dealers will or will not add for ADM.
With as few as will be built, msrp won't touch one. I'd expect 85k+ with adm fees. A loaded one with markup will be 100k or so. Talked to several ford reps that expect that to be the case.

My Ford dealer will sell one at MSRP (assuming allocation) so they can be had. My point was they are not $200,000 and a 5year wait as quoted earlier.

Correct on the $200k. Can't believe anyone really thought that. Seemed like sarcasm to me.

I know 5 very large volume dealers that dont expect more than 4 to 6 raptors and they aren't settling for anything below a 20k markup when they can get that for lesser Broncos.

A dealer is a dip if they give a raptor away at msrp with no more than they will get.

Where are you getting these numbers?
Wait is most likely 6mo to a year. MSRP is expected to be $65,000

Are you thinking about the Coyote trophy truck that was $250,000?
I was simply factoring in 'market adjustments' and Ford's scheduling track history.

Edit - With a hint of smartass, of course.

How do we know the flares aren't body color?

A couple of things:
  1. We shouldn't assume the entire bulge is flare only. I HOPE that for a flagship vehicle, Ford would use vehicle-specific metal with a bulge. If they use standard BRONCO fenders with huge plastic flares I will be sad as this is a cash-grab.
  2. Bronco R was the $200k model - that's not a Raptor.

Thank you,
me

Hopefully the aftermarket will be there to correct this horrendous mistake.

We all know the Raptor will be limited and expensive. What I thought was more interesting was the bit about the Everglades, Heritage and what ever else "special models" Ford comes up with not being available. Doesn't sound like normal Joe Blow is going to be able to get one. I know things are tight now but I thought part way through this year things would improve greatly. There have even been quite a few news articles being written abut a used car price crash looming.

The flares look like some Jeep takeoffs they slapped on a Bronco, and the tail lights look like they are a mix of Defender/Jeep design.
Love my Badlands and the Bronco, but I think this Raptor is a miss.
The only thing positive is the 3.0 Ecoboost.

You're right and I don't know if he was just talking in generalities, or it is really true, but he said the Everglades was a performance variant. It would make sense to no longer allow online reservations for anything outside the six base models due to constraints.

The flares are probably exaggerated to throw people off on the overall look. Ford doesn't you to know how this vehicle really looks, yet.

Flares are terrible. They should have worked with ADV their flares are waaay better and they have a 5” and 8” version coming.
I want the 5 inch in 2 door
