Out of curiosity I built one they way I’d want it, minus painted top and fenders. Ford is out of their mind $80190. No painted hardtop or fenders I’m sure that’s $2000-$3000 more if they ever get around to it. At that point why not get the full size F-150 raptor with the proper engine/trans. These prices are out of control.

I'm glad its a cool machine.

I am still amazed 'fast' SUVs sell. So much I'd rather have in an offroad vehicle than a faster machine

I would love one of these, but I really want a two-door. I also really want a manual, but I'd be willing to give that up.

I'll get as close to the Raptor version as I can without the extra doors.
As someone with a 2 door manual bronco, it's amazing! I love the transmission in this thing and the 2 door just looks so damn sexy lol Once they released details about the bronco raptor and that it only comes in 4 door (plus no V8) I knew I made the right choice for my bronco

went to Jalopnik (generally good writers). biggest surprise was them majorly talking up the auto transmission, which is the same 10-speed in other broncos (plus a cooler). makes the early wailing about the auto being weak seem moot

I’m glad you said it, because I didn’t want to have a ton of wrath with this sentiment. I can price out a fully loaded wildtrak with HOSS3 and it’s $20k less. Not sure the difference in price matches up.

However, I’m not stupid and realize it’s not about the bits- it’s the whole. I won’t call people buying them crazy, but I just don’t see the cost as a selling point for me.

What are the chances that the higher end non-Raptor models get the all digital gauge cluster? Seems kind of crappy to not give that upgrade to us Wilktrak and Badlands folks and leave us with the half analog cluster after waiting nearly 2 years.

I love the TFL guys, I do, but that “review“ was really something else.
He basically rehashed a ton of information they’ve already covered in their previous videos, drove it about a quarter mile down a trail with limited to no obstruction, hopped out, gave it a thumbs up and ranked it a 9/10 (deducting a point because of its width).:LOL::ROFLMAO:

Im sure there’s more content coming from them, this one just cracked me up.

I'd love to be able to swap the existing (poorly designed) cluster for the all-digital version. Curious if the openings in the dash, connections, and software would allow this down the road.

Not for me. Could never fit anywhere I’d want to take it. Maybe if I lived out west or near MI dunes, but I’m more of a foothills deep-forest guy. Interior is cool tho. Definitely love the instrument cluster.

It’s $5000 too much imo. $75k loaded seems like a perfect price point.

Even just a software update to make it more useful and visually in line with other vehicles nowadays. Less lag, too.

That said, full digital would be preferable. I'm never going to look at the analog speedo; too small and the needle completely covers whichever number is closest to your current speed.
