I have a 2022 Bronco Wildtrak . It has less than 8k miles on it. most of which are Hwy miles.
I noticed today that my right front tire has a crack running down the sidewall.
Has anyone seen or heard of this .
Is this covered on typical warranty?
Any help would be appreciated.

You curbed or rocked that sidewall and that is not covered as it is not a manufacturer's defect.

Based on that image I think that you are out of luck.Sidewall "DAMAGE" from hitting something with the sidewall.
Funny , the only thing I can think of that could of done that was hitting a curb making a turn…
I have never experienced this before. I guess I will use it for a spare. Damn shame.

Get that thing off your vehicle right away. Accident waiting to happen. That doesn't appear to be a manufacturing defect based on the curb rash around it, but never hurts to try I guess. Odd to see the tire just split though.

Something that I have done with my last 6 new vehicles, is to go down to Discount, and pay for the certificates for the tires that came on the truck. They will sell them to you even if you didn't buy them there, as long as they are almost new. Usually its around 35-40 per tire, and covers them just as if you had purchased them from their store.

Yeah and even cheaper second hand. If you can tolerate the rock slinging you'll have a cheap tire supply for years.

Your Goodyear's are still slinging?
Mine stopped as soon as I put some real miles on.

I keep taking them off because I can't stand the slinging. Plan is to run them in Moab, 1000 miles down then a week in the big rocks should break them in well.

Thank you for the shout out and your patronage!

The Certificate program is definitely worth the investment. If anyone would like more information on our Certificate program, I have included a link below.
