The Defender already costs $20,000 more than the equivalent Bronco so I don't see how this is a direct competitor.

Yeah not a direct competitor the same way a G Wagon isn't. They are capable off-roaders but they are dressed for the street and have fixed doors and roof. I saw the new Defender and was like "nope"
