With the 2021 Bronco starting production in late December 2020 with deliveries by April of 2021, when do think the 2022 model year will begin?

I feel that 2021 will be a short model year, but I’m far from certain in that feeling.

I could see that as well. Automakers seem to be increasingly getting away from the early Fall model year launches. Mazda in particular, is all over the map with model year releases.

Update: So, Ford has being stating for a while that reservations will go into 2022 for both model and calendar year. However, given Ford’s (and others) trend of launching models just before or just after the end of the year, those 2022 models might not arrive until after calendar year 2022 begins.

I had originally hoped that 2022 models would show up in Fall of 2021, but after looking at how Ford is launching their other 2021 models, I don’t see that happening. I see January 2022 as the start of 2022 production.
