2022 Outer Banks Eruption Green Build

My 2022 Eruption Green, Outer Banks, 2.7L, Auto, Sasquatch, Lux, Tow, Leather/Roast Bronco was delivered this week. FINALLY!!!

I have been around Broncos all my life, my father had many, and I have restored about 15 or so Early Broncos and actually have 4 in my shop currently. I have always loved to tinker and modify them and can't seem to keep them stock. I will do the same with this one.

I have been around Broncos all my life, my father had many, and have restored about 15 or so Early Broncos and actually have 4 in my shop currently. I have always loved to tinker and modify them and can't keep them stock no matter how hard I try.

In the thread title is "Special Decor". For those not familiar, Special Decor was a certain trim package found only on the 1976 and 1977 Early Bronco. Really nothing so "Special" about it other than a distinctive Stripe Kit which goes across the Hood and down each side. It has always been my favorite Early Bronco and I will do the same with the 22 Outer Banks.

I also am Very interested in the new, soon to be available, Raptor Bronco. However, odds are I will not be able to get on a list for it, am not going to pay $75-80K sticker with an extra $20-30K ADM added on. So, I will will make my own version. Lifted Suspension, my choice of 37s/Wheels and what ever else I can come up with.

Here's the Plan:

Lifted Suspension - A) Sasquatch Coil-Over Spacers, Camburg Upper Control Arms and Rear Lower Links - I do have a Fox Suspension on Order. That's plan B
Tires and Wheels - 37" Toyo AT3s and 18x9 Method 705s. These are already mounted and balanced with Sensors Installed

F O R D Letters on the tailgate like and Early Bronco - Remove current Bucking Horse

Just being curious, I wanted to see the actual Height of the "35" Inch Sasquatch tires while mounted on the Bronco. I measured a couple times and made sure I had it correct.

33.5 Inches.

Off the vehicle at Factory set PSI maybe 35", but I highly doubt it!

Update: New Icon Suspension Installed.

I had these delivered today. I ordered them early last week from Camburg. They have the same Strong Uni-Ball as the Billet version without the price.

I'm having the Special Decor Stripe kit installed this week with other emblems.

The whole Bronco will be Ceramic Treated and the Grill, Hood, Mirrors and Door Pillars with be done in PPF.

I had to do some searching because I couldn't place the "Special Decor" package. I remember seeing them before, but didn't know it was another trim package back then. Looks like an awesome build! I grabbed a link and a photo for reference for the rest of us.

From the write ups and reviews I am not going to install the Spacer Lift with the Sasquatch Suspension. It just does not seem to be the way to go for me.

I do have the Fox Coil-Overs on order and it will probably be another couple months before they arrive. I will install these on another Bronco I have on order which is about 10 months out.

So, I will install the 4WP Coil-Overs on this Bronco with the Camburg UCAs I have in the shop. These are a very nice quality Coil-Over without the remote reservoirs for a clean install. This will be a much better option for me than installing the spacer lift.

Decor Stripe Added today. Down the sides and a wider stripe across the hood.

I'll add additional pictures when I get it back from the detail shop.

Very subtle against the Green Paint which is what I was looking for.

It's the Ryder Graphix Mid Body Line in the Matt Black but it does have a little Satin sheen.
