2022 Wildtrack Added Options Pricing When Ordering

Sup everyone…So, as I am trying to convert the reservation I got in July to an order, it seems as though Ford is trying to, well, Ford me…

My 2021 reservation has been converted to a 2022, where I received an email this week to order through my online portal. The dealership I am going through said they are no longer submitting the orders, it is done online by the customer.

When I configure the Wildtrack(hardtop, towing, high package), it says the MSRP total is $54,015. When I click continue order, it goes to the confirmation screen with all information before I pay my $500 deposit. This is where it says a total MSRP of $60,605. The options are showing a total cost of $9,635, which is not accurate, it should be $1,750. Even when I select the base Wildtrack, it adds over $6k in options without me selecting them. I tried other trims, and this added options cost is not being added, it is maintaining the MSRP on both screens.

My dealer said they don’t know anything(shocker). Someone help me understand why I cannot get a Wildtrack at MSRP, when I can get all other trims at MSRP.

Thats a 4 door wildtrak with high package and towing.. No clue. The website has been buggy for a while, although it kind of looks like they are allowing dealers to roll in ADM up front now.

I find it interesting that I added the high package and towing but still only have $600 dollars in options..

Went in to see the GM and he wasn’t there. 3 people told me that they no longer deal with orders and it’s a problem with FMC. meeting With the GM Monday

I remember seeing one post about dealer instructions prior to B&P being released. It said dealers needed to go in and set pricing rules. I’m not sure about the inflated options cost, but line E23 certainly looks like your dealer is adding $2k ADM

Appreciate all the insight. I also had door bags and the keyless entry pad, but obviously not 9k in options.

If I order, do you know if I am locked into that price? Or it will be corrected. Also, the 2k is ADM? I’m okay with that

That's what it looked like, but I can't say for sure. There was clearly an increase at your particular dealership.

Ford recently redid their entire Build and Price/order tracking and everything is still broken.

Maybe call the dealer and get clarification..

Looks like ford got their shit together this morning, the bug is fixed. Not to figure out a way to avoid that 2k dealer markup.
