I have a guy willing to sell me his 2022 Wildtrak take off suspension for basically nothing. My question is will this be able to fit on my 2024 Outerbanks non sas? I have watched many videos online where they have done it a few years ago, but i'm not sure if the 2024 has had any changes. Apologies if this has been asked before, I searched but did not find any info. Also, if it will fit what are your opinions on just doing the front shocks to level? Thanks in advance!

Yup it’ll work.

Only thing to watch out for is the springs. Ford has different spring rates for different vehicles depending on the weight of the vehicle itself. So if the springs are too stiff for the weight of your Outer Banks you’ll have a stiff ride.

Also keep in mind that this is the older HOSS 2.0 suspension and not the HOSS 3.0 suspension that is current on the Wildtrak. (Probably why its so cheap.) So if you were upgrading expecting to get the same ride the Wildtrak has today
 you won’t.

As far as leveling goes
I’d just buy a leveling kit. They’re only a couple hundred at most and since you’re taking off the suspension anyway it’ll be an easy install.

Thanks for the reply, enjoy your YT videos btw! Yeah It’s coming off a 4 door wild track but for $150 I figured I’d take the gamble and see I was pretty sure it would work but wasn’t 100%. I appreciate the reassurance!

I don't know if I'd invest in take-off Bilsteins with the issues some have had with the reservoirs falling/rusting off.

Thanks for the heads up, wasn’t aware of that.. I’ll be able to get a better look at them
In person, I’ll plan on keeping my stock suspension just in case.

I got the same set from a 22 wild track for $150 and put them on my 23 black Diamond non sas and they really improved the ride quality over stock suspension. For that price you’ll get your moneys worth

Sick! $150 was a steal I couldn’t resist, have any pictures by chance? I’m just waiting to get some wheels now

If you're gonna do the install yourself then go for it. cant go wrong for that price.

If you're paying somebody to install, then I wouldn't, those bilsteins are trash and even if the reservoirs don't fall off they will leak at the reservoir joint and start riding rough. I can see rust on the picture you posted already forming, you'd be better served buying the Bilstein 6112's.

Your money though, just offering my two cents.

I would agree, I did quite a bit of research and read a lot of threads on the issues with them, and while obviously not all cases, but most of the cases I read about were from miles driven in parts of the country with extreme weather, specifically referring to snow, salt, and ocean water/sand. Did hear from some people who have not experienced issues with them(yet). The ones I purchased were in great condition with no signs of rust- and for $150 if they last for a year I’ll have got my money out of them.

Most of the posting of failed Billsteins I've seen, came from the rust-belt, if you're both from Texas, I wouldn't hesitate.
