No more Wildtrak for 2023
LOL if I 99d mine just to be told it was gone I'd be a mad mofo. I know your joking but Ford is all over the place these days. I just want my painted roof they promised. Rapid red was a great color and they killed it. I could see them doing something silly and taking away area 51....

Lol yes I’m absolutely kidding.

Nothing much as far as changes. Some special editions but that’s about it. Mod top is on track, weiners crossed it stays that way

I am back interested in ordering a bronco after taking some time off. It sounds like my only option will be a 2023 model. I searched "2023" but couldn't find anything about the 2023 model here on the forums. Does anyone know if details have been released? Are there any changes, new trims, etc? Any idea when 2023 orders will begin or when the earliest delivery could be? I am a day 1, July 13, reservation holder that has been deferring for a Raptor. Unfortunately, Ford's process for Raptors means I won't get one any time soon.
Allegedly 8/15 is when the order banks open so I would think some info just before then.

Please, Ford, for the love of God, get rid of Area 51 paint. It's the Pumpkin Spice Latte of Bronco paints.

Nobody knows. But get in line. Because my July 2020 reservation still has not been built and will probably get pushed to 2023 at this point. This is a shit show of epic proportions.

Yes, Ford did do a limited press release for the 2023 Bronco.

The only details they were willing to release were "good luck to those that reserved in 2020 and ordered in 2021" and "Unfortunately being a Reservation holder is a constraint."

  • The painted MOD hard top should become available.
    • If this turns out to be true, good chance the special trim for 2023 will be a heritage Bronco. It’ll likely just to be an appearance package with a few extra stuff thrown in, similar to what they did with the Everglades.
I expect that the modular top will be exclusive to the Heritage Edition for 2023 for three reasons: A) It increases the appeal of what is otherwise just an appearance package. B) It will allow Ford to more smoothly ramp up production as all the tops will (presumably) be white instead of color matched, and C) Allow for a more manageable recall should it happen again.

The Heritage Edition itself I assume will just be an Everglades with a modular top. I wouldn't be surprised if those square fenders were made specifically for the Heritage Edition but they threw them on the Everglades when they delayed the modular top.
