There's really no reason to do any gatekeeping around a Bronco truck.
If people will buy them, I say Ford should build them.

There's value in something like this, IMO. And, really as far as Ford is concerned, it doesn't matter if it cannibalizes another Ford sale as long as it keeps the sale in the Ford family.
Traditional trucks don't have the open top versatility. Plus, it'd likely have greater tow capacity than the Bronco itself. That's a combo I'd be interested in. I'll say right now that if there were a truck version, it would probably be my preferred option. But as it is, I'm picking the Bronco over any traditional truck and the Gladiator.

I think it looks pretty cool. I know it's a rendering, but the proportions already look better than the Gladiator.

Why do they have to make this tougher than it is? All they need to do is make a 2door 4door with a removable bulkhead and a half cab. The gladiator would sell better if they had simply done this. Driving one wouldn’t feel like pulling a trailer with a regular Jeep.
