Update:

The reference to "2023 Bronco Raptor" has now been removed from the engineer's profile as you can see here. But you can see the original version in the first post.

Isn’t there talks of the new Raptors getting the 2.7L engine anyways? If that turns out to be true it would be hard to get me to switch to a raptor if I can make a normal bronco into a raptor. I miss the old days when the Raptors had 6.2L?
The new Raptor is powered by the 5.2L SuperCharged Predator V8

Th new F-150 Raptor is getting the Mustang GT 500's super-charged 700+ HP engine, so there's no way anyone would miss the 6.2L. ? That said, I don't think the Bronco Raptor would get (or need) that kind of power. The 3.5TT from the current F-150 Raptor seems like a realistic possibility. I would be surprised if there's room for a V8 in a Bronco.

Yeah, I won't be able to afford that so it's still vaporware.

This is awesome but... makes me want to wait. ?
Yeah, but once you get to that point, you could say "well, the new model is only a few years away....I could wait"

At some point, you'll have to just get one haha.

Has that been confirmed? Last time I checked there was just some shotty audio Clip that sounded like a V6?

The 3.5L High-Output EcoBoost has been discontinued starting in 2021. The new F-150 Raptor will be a mid 2021 entry dubbed a 2022 F-150 Raptor. Been confirmed on Ford authority.

How much more can they really do to "Raptorize" a Badlands or Wildtrack...that won't likely be possible in similar form via aftermarket mods over next couple of years? Drive your 2.7 for 2 years then tune the engine plus some aftermarket changes. I can't imagine the juice being worth the squeeze to take a loss on your 2yr Bronco to pay $70k for a BRaptor. I guess some will though. There are plenty of Raptor trucks in my suburban neighborhood that will never see dirt.

I really hope that is what they end up with! A supercharged Vodoo or even Coyote would be sweet.

I have a 2019 Ranger with the 2.3L that I have modded to well over 400HP (custom tune, downpipe, hot/cold pipes, intake, pushing 23 psi on 93). Does 0 - 60mph in 4.9 sec (factory is over 7 sec). The Bronco will have the same running gear. I can promise the 2.7L will be adequate. I should be able to get the 2.7 to 600hp on 93. I already have a Raptor plus this Ranger set up to prerun. I'm buying my Bronco for a rockcrawler, which is how it is already set up. I'm not sure if the Bronco Raptor interests me more than the FE I have reserved.
