Guys, the F150 is getting a heritage edition as well. The thinking around here is very out of touch with what Ford is doing with the "heritage" label.
So less of a Bronco heritage edition and more of a Ford 1960's heritage.

More of a "we can squeeze more money out of some customers with some stickers and ugly wheels" heritage.

Similar to what Chevy did with the SS badge about a decade ago.

The only thing that comes to mind for "Oates" is the Bronco DR. Maybe a code name or something.

Also noticing they have a Heritage and Heritage Limited for both the Bronco and Bronco Sport, and unlike the Everglades they have a completely different Series Code. So that would imply Ford has something up their sleeve in regards to Heritage that we haven't yet seen.

For Heritage limited think First Edition……every available box checked plus the special wheels and colors.

If the Oates is an EV Or hybrid I’ll shit myself (in a good way lol)
I'd say that isn't likely because you'd see something different in the engine category like another engine option.

I bet the Oates is the DR,
Edit: well maybe not, there is only the 2.3, 2.7 and 3.0 engines listed under the engine code

fir the Oates was the DR I'd expect to see a 5.0 engine code too

Oates = limited edition two door 2.7 7MT with Raptor shocks and towing capacity without the ugly flares. With the added articulation of the Raptor using sway bar disconnect and the 4.7 axle ratio of the DR, it is intended to be the more extreme rock crawler. Available only in Yellowstone with an off white top.

I mean one can dream can’t they.

Well my desire for the Heritage Blue color does not extend into the realm of what will likely be a top end only trim and be close to $60k

I did some Ford Trademark searches, and the only thing that stuck out was this filing for OTX.

https://uspto.report/TM/90710968

There have been several interesting filings over the last few years, here is that list;

https://uspto.report/company/Ford-Motor-Co

I did find an a few articles from a while back on the OTX Trademark, i'm thinking that OATES is an in house code name for something. Hell, it could be a Rattler Edition like the new F150 package.
