Have the unfortunate experience of bringing home the newly purchased Bronco two weeks ago only to notice a whirling servo type noise emanating from the engine compartment every one minute and ten seconds. Stood over it hood up and discovered it was the turbo wastegate actuator cycling continuously. Has been at dealer for a week, no clue as to why it has an open circuit. Ford engineers also consulted. No dice. Anyone else have a similar experience/positive outcome? It was fun driving it for those 50 miles though!

I believe it’s a common thing in all 2.3 engines and it’s pretty much the way the engine is

Pretty common noise. I think some have had it go away after having the actuator replaced.

Is it throwing any codes? @flip or @Ducati1098 may have some insight.
No Codes. Ford engineer directed dealer to focus on electrical draw since actuating the wastegate continually kills the battery in a day or two. Setting up monitoring this week to see if they can ID.

I got no problem with mine. Turbo is OFF unless I give it extra throttle. Boost increases as it should and releases when it has to on my 2024 7MT Big Bend. That is too bad, the dealer has got to be able to have a solution. Obviously it can work fine...
