That is not true. Toyota has never done customer orders. You can tell an individual dealer what you want and they can look for it.

not quite, we can absolutely order a vehicle to meet customer request. now can a customer come in and submit an order no, not if we don't have one being built for us by Toyota. if we do we ( the dealership) can customize the vehicle before its built to meet customer request. and it results in a much more efficient build process. and im not even saying fords build process is bad its just annoying to deal with.

I ordered my Everglades back mid to late September. Patiently waiting ! My dealer is a very small, mountain dealer in the Rockies. Broncos pass by me on the daily and I am constantly drooling.

Any updates on yours today? Apparently did priority scheduling but I haven’t seen anyone post

I would check with ford chat or call marketing on Friday. That's where a lot of us got our info from.
I'm sensing another email quirk in the making. Mine moved to production yesterday and still no email notice. I had hopes with how good they were the first few weeks haha. This is why we can't have nice things haha
Also while my dealer has been super nice and easy to ask, the only thing I ever got out of them was an ETA for delivery. I dont think it was a negative on them I just don't think they realize the importance to me for allll the details haha.

Definitely weird. My dealer let me know I was previewing Wednesday and he felt sure it would get pulled by yesterday then not a peep. I checked with ford chat mid day yesterday and it was still in “order processing”. Maybe they postponed scheduling?

I thought I saw where the hard tops are still a constraint. If so, how can the HE production be a priority?

That is what I was thinking, I've seen it happen before.

Just spoke with my dealer and he said that it's still previewing so I'm clueless as to what that means! It's been in preview since Wedneday.
