It’s not about how it looks, it’s about how it drives. Nearly two years in, this thing still blows my mind.

I think he meant "seems", not actually how it looks. ;)

Ah yes! Though that green with the painted flares does look actually pretty excellent. 😀

Yeah but $100k for a bronco hell no, $100k for a 3/4 ton diesel pick-up is a hard pill to swallow and that’s a necessity. If ford didn’t jack the shit out of their prices and the braptor was around $80k then I may be able to justify but at $100k hell no priced out of the market as far as I’m concerned

You can get them in the low 90s, maybe even high 80s in some places.
I will agree with you if you are making the case that it is not worth the price difference because I can understand that perspective.

I'll also agree that a person can justify the extra cost for what the Raptor offers over the rest of the Bronco line.

If you look at the Raptor as a really expensive Bronco it makes no sense, but then IMHO neither do the trims above base Black Diamond.

Ford knows how to play us all. They have us figured out, you want better off road gear or more luxury features then you are going to pay dearly for it. BRaptor is the current peak for that strategy.

Also we can thank Stellantis for cranking up the price of Wrangler. Bronco has stayed just under comparable Wrangler prices.

I waited 555 days for my '21 Badlands.

It'd be like courting a girl for years, then after she says "yes", dumping her for some hotter new girl.

That seems kinda "ass-hat-ish" to me.

You courted FOMOCO for 555 days. :)

Broncos are just objects, you won't hurt its feelings by upgrading.

Meh

My '21 is paid for. I look out the window at it, or hop in, and smile. Don't know that taking the financial hit to trade up would make me smile that much harder.

I'm good.

Gosh the Braptor looks amazing, but not 33% more than I paid for my rig amazing.
I'm not following. It looks like it has 4 doors and an automatic transmission. What am I missing? ;)

Every time I read the pricing I'm blown away I have a v6 sasquatch 4 door for like 40k brand new.

Preorder sucked, the years of waiting sucked, but I don't think I'll ever get a "deal" like that again. It almost seems like a fluke it was so cheap.

I love the bronco raptor but there are 10 other cars I'd buy in place of it at that price point. 100k all day here in Dallas.
