Sure a lot of people will be turned off with hybrid/i4 only.
Sure a V6tt option would have been widely accepted, even if it's a TRD Pro

anyone who thinks these are similar is stupid, jaded or both.
You'll be surprised at the number of people that's asked me if the top can come off. I've literally seen one down here with everything off. It's just too damn hot. I also don't trust the factory hardtop for anything more than keeping rain off my head.
Never considered it being "too hot" or "too humid" for a convertible! It's humid up here in the summer, and snows half the year, but otherwise I think I'll have the top off for 3 straight months in the summer when I finally get one!I'm in that camp a bit, I look at the bronco as a vehicle that's stupid fun for reasons other than being a convertible. I'll occasionally take the front row panels off for the commute home or the middle one as well if the kids ask during the two weeks a year when our weather doesn't classify as humidity hell, rainy winter/spring or popup thunderstorm whackamole. That has been it over the last year and a half, the rear clamshell has never come off. At this point I think I'd be fine trading the convertible ability for a fixed or one-piece roof option that suffered from less wind noise Monday through Friday.
Apparently it’s 2” longer than the current 4Runner. Also currently not available with a 3rd row in the US although other markets get one (bit miffed about that).
It remains to be seen if this version lives up to the LC heritage. But, in the past LCs were in a different league regardling quality and durability when compared to most all other vehicles. It's not uncommon for an LC to go half a million miles w/o any major issues. What is different between this and a 4Runner?
Good catch!I don't think the press release mentions it but the Toyota website notes that the 4cyl iForce Max engine on the LC will have a combined 27 MPG rating. For a vehicle this large/heavy that's pretty impressive - if MPG is part of your purchasing criteria.

I’m bummed about the lack of 3rd row option too. Not sure what to go with now, maybe the current gen 4Runner before they update it since I’m not sure the 3rd row will make it to the redesign of that platform.Apparently it’s 2” longer than the current 4Runner. You are waiting because not many here want to feed the troll...Still waiting...
