I know there’s threads. But need quick help.
ordered 11/21. At dealer trying to close on bronco. But they are saying I don’t qualify for price protection.

I called ford customer service and the lady said they don’t deal With this.

The cutoff date is March 2021, as I understand it. Your order was placed well past that. Sorry :(

If you place your order after March 2021 you have retail price protection. I placed my order on 10/14/2021. My dealer advised that even though I added Hoss 3.0 and the new order reflects the 2022.5 pricing, I will still have the 2022 pricing at time of order.

If you do not change your order after March 7, 2022, and take delivery of your 2022 MY Bronco, your order qualifies for retail order price protection. This protects the MSRP of the vehicle at the time the 2022 order was received by Ford. Final transaction details, including price, will be agreed upon by you and the dealer.

I’m pretty sure that’s only for MY22.5 pricing, and unless he got built and delivered at record speed, he is almost certainly buying a MY22. Edit: yours also should have MY22 pricing (orders for which opened in 2021). If your dealer knows how to get MY21 pricing on a MY22 order without a reservation, please have him share that with the rest of us :)

If we’re talking a 1000 or so difference, I’d shut and pay it before they decide to sell it to someone else.

I believe we're on the same page. My pricing is MY22, the time I made my order last October. I'm safe from being jumped to the MY22.5 pricing which was quite a jump, even after having added the Hoss package. I hope I have it right. I had to edit my first post it was 2022, not 2021 pricing.

If you had a reservation or placed an order BEFORE March 19, 2021 you get price protection. If you placed it after, and don't make any changes, you will keep your MSRP and won't get any additional incentives/credits from Ford. As long as your dealer doesn't lose the WBDO or DORA 😬

Sounds right to me. BTW I’m pretty jealous of the HOSS 3.0 upgrade. The last time I edited my order in Jan 22, it was a greyed out option. Now I know that’s because I didn’t have a Wildtrak. Knowing what I know now I would have happily switched… enjoy your new ride when it comes :)

This has been covered ad nauseum. You’re covered against the 22.5 price increase as long as your order was finalized before March 7, 2022. If the dealer isn’t honoring this they are either clueless or trying to screw you. Any bodies guess since ford has done such a piss poor job with this rollout and communication to all parties involved.

I even called ford customer service and bronco customer service and they didn’t help.

Have your dealer call their Rep. This solved the issue for us. Should be taking delivery in the next few days.

Edit to say - Our dealer simply didn't know how to handle the 22.5MY increase. The rep cleared it up.
