I imagine I'm hardly the only one to have received this email but for those that check Bronco6G more than they check their inbox . . .

Ford Bronco 25% Discount on Ford Accessories - Code: GIFT25 1722873385055-nz

Had great success with the 20% on some stuff earlier (with Fordpass points) wonder if I can pop for the rear diff cover . . . :)

The website seems to be having access problems, at least for me.

Just a data point, working fine for me, confirmed as I suspected that the diff cover is not under the "Accessories" umbrella. Later I'll wander over there anyway.

I'm one of the early orders that dropped the tow pkg to attempt to streamline the build (it "worked" I guess, as I only ended up waiting 2 years 9 months, LOL). Wondering if I might order the tow hitch and wiring kits and pop for install, all with points + 25% discount, or go with the Curt hitch aftermarket. Diff cover is not an accessory but tow pkgs are.

Received a "Happy Birthday Bronco" email from Ford Acessories this morning with a 25% off code.

Use GIFT25 to get 25% off.

If the hitch and wiring are separate I might get the Curt Hitch and go for the factory wiring. Factory wiring would be cleaner.

Same here. Wife would absolutely kill me if another package came a month before it gets dropped off at Exodus for a makeover...

If the hitch and wiring are separate I might get the Curt Hitch and go for the factory wiring. Factory wiring would be cleaner.
They are listed as separate; the hitch notes that the separately sold wiring kit is required.
Hitch ( MB3Z19D520K ) lists for $415/83K points and wiring kit ( VP2DZ15A416A ) lists for $279/55.8K points. Optional dealer install for hitch is listed at $112/22.4K pts and wiring kit at $140/28K pts.
(all these prices/pts are list, discount not factored in)

I'm confident in my ability to install the hitch kit itself but have no desire to monkey around with the wiring. Do you think I'd be able to install the (lower co$t) Curt hitch and then pop for the Ford wiring kit with dealer install?

I bought the 2024 hitch and wiring kit (hitch and harness came in the same box). I am certainly no mechanic but I was able to do it myself. The 24 hitch requires removing the bumper…the wiring is plug and play. Very easy….just unplug, install a box thing and button it back up. No cutting/splicing or running a wire to the battery.
A 23 and earlier is a different install.

Good to know, thanks. Thinking I probably won't trade in my '23 for a newer model just for the easier post-purchase tow hitch install.

I don't see why not. The Curt Hitch is a 10 min job. Be sure the wiring is for the proper year Bronco, 2024s are different than all others. I have Curt wiring and it's fine, but I would prefer the factory, it would be much cleaner. And I would pay for dealer install (if not a 24).

Thanks for the insight. With the 25% discount and it being all points on my end I feel myself being swayed to going with the all-Ford solution, dealer installed. Dropping the tow pkg was the only regret I had/have and this would address that for nothing out-of-pocket. This could be my birthday present to myself, Medicare here I come, woohoo!
