2D vs 4D Roof Rack Part Numbers

Ford accessories has the 2D and 4D OE Roof Rack listed as different parts. One is available to purchase the other isn’t. Aren’t they the same?

Nope, different.

The crossbars are the same, and many of the mounting components are the same, but main support bars themselves (aka: side bars) are different sizes.

Shame. Ford is running 20% off right now.
I’ve bought a bunch of smaller OE items I didn’t want to add at time of order, during this sale. Door bags. Etc. would had been nice to knock one of the last items I need to take full advantage of the platforms modularity.

This makes more sense to me. It would be great if this holds true. 20% off is a pretty good deal on this.
