Has anyone seen or heard about a way to increase the fuel capacity of the 2DR Broncos? Would like to see the range pushed out to 350+ miles.
And no Jerry Cans or external fuel carriers are not the Answer.

I have read other threads and posts about it. The only way to do it is EXPENSIVE!! Because of sensors and vapor recovery, sending units etc. You would have to replace the original tank with a larger one, if Ford could have I suspect they would have. Add another complete tank for a dual tank set up with all the same systems in place. The one way I think most simple but probably dangerous? Gerry cans on either side of the spare with a hard plumbed transfer pump mounted underneath. You could ad 10 gallons. But what happens if you get hit??

These folks are supposedly working on one. The downfall is it'll cost $2,000+ and that's not including install.

Right now I didn't see anything listed on their page for Broncos.
Just signed up for their Newsletter so we'll see what we get.

It always seems I need to stop and pee before 350 miles anyway.

yeah an aftermarket replacement tank would be nice. My current f150 had the 36 gallon tank which is really nice for that. Before that I had an f250 on which I installed myself, a transfer flow 50 gallon replacement diesel tank. The range was amazing. I’ll be trading my f150 for the two door Bronco. The one and only thing I’m not looking forward to is the small fuel tank.

Too bad they didnt come with a dual tank option like the original. I get about 500KMS to a tank on my 2 door badlands 7 speed.

Wonder if there's an AM 18g or retrofit a 20.8 from a 4dr
