Awesome. No baja for me in the SouthEast either. Well…except maybe the 400/285 interchange

I did the JKS MaxTire Kit. It eliminates the crash bar and fender liner rub (at least for On Road driving)I have had +18 and now +6 Offset Wheels installed with Toyo 37s and about a 3" Lift. No rubbing what so ever.
It doesn't seem right that with more lift you are getting that much rubbing? That -15 Offset really gets the tire too far out and the "Turning Arc" or Radius is too big and puts the tire into the fender. I'm surprised because the tires really do not stick out that far from a visual stand point.
why do you say they aren't a true 37"Looks great. With a true 37” there will be much more rubbing.
KM3s are known to be smaller than other 37s. I don’t have exact measurements but I think online said around 36.5” unmountedwhy do you say they aren't a true 37"
Every tire is about 1/2” smaller than the number. That’s normal.KM3s are known to be smaller than other 37s. I don’t have exact measurements but I think online said around 36.5” unmounted
What tires are considered a 'true' 37? Do BFGs in general run small?Looks great. With a true 37” there will be much more rubbing.
I think most Manufactures run slightly undersized on their 37" tires, some just happen to be closer than others. Toyo, Nitto, and Goodyear are some that come to mind that are a little closer to true size. The BFG's are some of the smallest in the 37" tire class. Depending on the rim size they can even be closer to a 35" tire. I had a set of Goodyear MTR tires on a jeep that where 35x12.5.-17 on a 8.5 inch rim and the measured within a 1/4 of a friends 37 BFGs on a 10 inch rim. All tire specs on the manufactures websites are measured at a specific rim width and most of us deviate some what from those rim width to fit our application. What tires are considered a 'true' 37? You need to send it harder lolI have 37" KM3's on Kings and have no rubbing at all. -12 offset wheels.
Nice truck! That was my build until ford threatened us about cancelling orders to make room for 2023. I settled for a 4dr Badlands, 2.7, lux, SAS, soft top. I really wanted a 2 dr.Installed an icon 3” lift on my badlands Sasquatch.
This was my first time really digging into my car to do a somewhat major modification. I have to say it was fun to get in there and see how everything works and is put together no matter how much of a pain in the ass it was to install.
I really love how it turned out. I do rub at near full lock only in reverse on the rear crashbar mount and fender liner. I’ll have to get back in there with a Sawzall when I get time.
Going to install Broncbuster stuff tomorrow then hit the trails this weekend. Might end up trashing the fenders. Oh well, just gives me an excuse to buy new ones (hopefully that’s not the case though).
My build so far:
Icon 3” lift and tubular F&R control arms
37x12.5 KM3s
17x8.5 -15 Fuel Slayers
Hammerbuilt Tailgate reinforcement
Xpel Stealth PPF
Diode dynamics SS3 pro ditch lights
Diode dynamics SS3 and SSC2 sport fogs
Jb4 piggyback tuner
Whipple Filter
Broncbuster steering rack housing
Broncbuster bushing and braces
Dv8 shock skids and diff skid
3” custom axle-back exhaust system
