Doubt 12mpg12mpg...yikes.
i can’t see it being that bad even with 35’s. Here is the F150 with both the 2.7 and 3.5.12mpg...yikes.
Hybrid is what I'm eager to see too. On the Ranger6G forum it has been all but confirmed that the new Ranger is coming in the PHEV form and given how close the two platforms are I wouldn't be surprised if Bronco followed. If you could operate in all electric around town and get about 20 on the highway a lot of people would be happyIf this guy is right, looks like 15 combined could be a stretch...
No wonder he’s waiting for hybrid powertrain
Bear in mind although the engine is the same the gearing is totally different. The 2.7 in the F150 is geared for fuel economy and doesn't have heavy 35' wheels on each corner to spin.. a Bronco with SAS is geared for off road performance. Plus the EPA fuel economy ratings are unreliable, to put it kindly!i can’t see it being that bad even with 35’s. Here is the F150 with both the 2.7 and 3.5.
If sas gets 12 my wife is going to kill me. That's TRX badI don't mind getting 15ish mpg on the Bronco but if Sas gets 12mpg, that is very disappointing. Also, if it is an army green they are going to use, my feelings won't be hurt that I didn't wait.
Yup, not sure what folks are expecting with 35s.
