Michael's way section of Rubicon Ridge back when it was still a hard 4/mod 5. I tried it 2x after the big rains a few years ago and can't make it through any more.
Stay to the left going down the steep hill on "To Grandma's House" lol. That's so steep you have to just about slide down on your butt because your feet will slip out from under you. This guy has been down this trail dozens of time before too. I winched to him, the bronco behind me had to winch to my bronco to keep my bronco from sliding lol.
I've got albums full of photos from that place, great wheeling unless it's wet. Then the 2 rated trails turn into 4's and so on.

I'm going to have to try Michael's Way again it looks like, I"ve not tried it since 2018 and the rock garden at the top that's such a pain looks completely different now. Going to have to plan a trip I guess lol. Those jeeps in the video need air down, lower gear and less pedal lol.

Nice pics! There is some scary steep stuff out there. I came down Free Fall above the park entrance in my 93 Bronco almost 20 years ago and it was really nice that it was rutted out because the axles dragging slowed me down and the ruts kept me from getting sideways, which would be a disaster on that trail. The initial decent down its rock garden is probably the most challenging part of it. It is a love/hate thing with my wife. She HATES going down and LOVES it at the bottom. There are a lot of ups and downs along the way, and then there is one tough cutback near the end that might be nerving for some. Looks tougher than it actually is.
