3 factory wheel options for 2022 Bronco Raptor (pics)

The Bronco Raptor will have 3 wheel options (base and 2 bead-locks). 17x8.5 at 6x135 bolt pattern with 14mm x 1.5 lug nuts

Pictured below from least expensive to most expensive.

Base wheel >> Cast Aluminum: +1.3”/34mm (no cost)

1st Bead-lock option

2nd bead-lock option >> forged aluminum bead lock: +1.2”/30m

So they have capacity to offer 3 different wheel styles on a new model Bronco but can't make enough parts that they knew were needed to produce orders from July 2020? Sure, blame covid when it is becoming clearer and clearer that this is a management issue.

That entire wheel design is not very practical if you plan to actually do any rock crawling. Too much poke on the lattice design of the hub, and having the lattice design extend out into the beadlock rings is just plain stupid. The entire wheel will get destroyed by rock rash.

Haha I know. I’ve had ko2 and it took a ton of weights to balance it

base wheels were removed from my Raptor within 500 miles. Running some forged wheels (Titan7) now and dropped close to 10 pounds per corner

Thanks! I may look at new wheels depending on how heavy the black steelies are. I kinda want to find chrome centers that fit to make it look like police wheels...
