The Ford Truck Enthusiast email included this article on someone in the 80's, who purchased a Bronco and stored it for 30 Years. I feel bad for the Bronco, never got to live its true life. 29 miles of life.

For all you investors in cars, this is how you do it and look at all the money this person made...minus storage fees. But remember, the plastic has to be left on.

There was a more detailed story out there that the guy they bought it for died, so it was just kept in storage.

that was actually a really bad investment. 26k in 91, todays dollars would be about 60k, plus 30 years of storage, at lets say a cheap $100/mo, puts us right at about that 90k sale price.

26k average investment in 1991 would be.....somewhere north of 180k. a tech investment, say, microsoft, would be about $5,590,000 today.
