Good job getting 19mpg. I am getting 16.4mpg in a 2.3L manual 4 door badlands. I think I was getting about 17.5mpg for the first 500 miles, not beating on it now but definitely more willing to rev it out. I also track miles and gallons on fill ups and would say the mog calculator in the vehicle is pretty accurate. Within 0.2mpg on the first two fill ups.

Good to know the accuracy is pretty close! I've never gone down the analytics rabbit hole myself. I'm just trying to make sure the break-in is as smooth as possible. The mileage is just a bonus 😁

I'm happy to report I'm at an overall average of 19mpg on regular ol' 87octane
News I can use. Seriously, thank you for sharing, at least something to look forward to for the next year while I await my Wildtrak.

Let's just pray that gas prices stay within reason! Once I pass the break in period I'll probably put a few tanks of 93 in just for kicks

The first tank came with the vehicle, so I am guessing it was 87 and since then I have been running 93. Butt Dyno tells me it has a little more down low. Could also just be getting used to it and being better about gear selection, haha.

So I've had my Wildtrak since Thursday the 8th and since then have put just under 300 miles on it myself. It had roughly 25 miles at delivery. Mostly driven on 2 lane hwys no more than 60mph and some dirt back roads here and there. This is by no means a hypermiling machine, but I'm happy to report I'm at an overall average of 19mpg on regular ol' 87octane

Next 300 spin up the screws, put her in the mud and report back!

@DETT Thanks for the report and congrats on your Bronco!

Did you really just compare the Bronco to a Prius?

19 MPG sounds good. Assume you didn't use much A/C at 73°
Very valid point.
The competitor’s MPG doesn’t take that into account because AC is extra $ lol

Fiesta will definitely still be in the stable with it’s around town fuel economy being a factor lol. Definitely curious to see more of the 2.3l manual Badlands reports though. That’s my build and hopefully it’s not too rough cruising on the highway.

WT is SAS by default, so the official EPA # is 17mpg, he's beating that.

@DETT How are the speakers / adaptive cruise on the Lux?
