POSITIVES
Reasonable MPG @ 18.5 (75% highway/25% in town)
Outstanding ride quality, much better than expected
MIC top looks much better than expected
Interior much better looking and more comfortable than expected, good quality leather
Street handling is outstanding, tight turning radius for U-turns
Paint quality is very good, much better than my GT350 was
Roomy 2nd row seating and cargo area
Engine bay is tidy and presents well
Great headlights and high beams at night
The stock wheels are a masterpiece, I thought I would hate them
Only 10 miles on the odometer at delivery
Excellent rear view camera and warning system
Engine sounds good on start up and idle
Quiet interior, little road noise in town

NEGATIVES
Excessive wind noise at highway speed, egregiously so
Poor passing acceleration at interstate highway speeds (75 mph plus)
Owner manual is over 500 pages, poorly organized, not accessible while vehicle is in motion
Lane assist is a PITA until you figure out Where the shutoff button is (left side of steering wheel)
Automatic shutoff at full stop is a complete PITA, finally discovered shutoff in dash display, requires shutoff on each ignition start
Spare tire area will be a bitch to clean around, hoping someone comes out with a color coordinated hard shell cover
Left side of the driver seat will get heavy wear from me sliding out on exit, cannot come close to simply stepping out (5ā€™8ā€)
Engine sounds crappy on acceleration, Iā€˜m used to V-8s and V-10s with at least 450HP
hard to believe the rear swing out tailgate hinges will last, very heavy

OVERALL
I would rate it 8 out of 10 only because of high speed wind noise. For around town, itā€™s a 10!

I don't think you're suppose to read the manual while the vehicle is moving. I know "Ok Boomer".

Nice I had one like yours as a test drive about a month ago. My wife was amazed at how comfortable the ride was. I dare say it was an old time full size ford like my dad used to drive. Lol

Thank you. My GX has same side of seat issue as I sold use the step. On a test drive I thought the same thing about the engine. Was ā€˜weirdā€™ being in a crazy off-road capable truck and hearing that engine. .. still very few rides that look better. Do you wish you had gone with soft top?

Appreciate your thoughts.

Some might disagree with you on the tidiness of the engine bay, though. ;-)
Some always disagree with you on anything, though šŸ˜

The sound deadening addition to the MIC would be been a good option. If youā€™d have gotten the 2.7L v6, acceleration wouldnā€™t be a problem. Basically, youā€™re whiny about non issues. I have a 2 door 2.7L BB. Itā€™s effing amazing.
