Any difference in performance (towing a RZR) or fuel economy
Outerbanks 32's and 4.27 vs
Badlands 33's and 4.46
or does the 1" taller 33" make them equal?

Effective gearing is nearly identical; The bigger tires will cost a bit of mileage because of the greater rotational inertia but that is likely a fart in the wind with such a small change in size.

Tire size is about 3% different, gears are about 4% different, close enough. With the Badlands you get the M210 (stronger) front diff and front locker, SBD and better off road tires. So if it's a coin toss for you get the Badlands.

Thanks. I also like the looks of the Badlands so getting a better looking Bronco and better capabilities is a win. Only thing I like in the Badlands is the leather trimmed seats but will give that up for the better overall looks and performance of the Badlands...

This confuses me on which one you're getting lol, sounds like you're comparing Badlands to Badlands now

Sorry I should have specified I like the two tone leather on the Outerbanks. For the Badlands I would rather have vinyl and apply that money towards the High package

Not even an inch difference in actual tire size ....32.1" vs 32.6".
Need to run the two set ups on grimmjeeper.coms gearing comparison tool.

You'll see some difference in fuel economy (especially above 60 MPH due to the increased frontal area - but not a huge difference - maybe 1 mpg is my guess). You'll certainly see some change in performance due to the fact that the rotational mass will increase 20# per corner, which will have an impact on acceleration (assuming the A/T Duellers are 40# and most M/T tires in 33" are near 60#).

Gearing, however, really isn't a factor.

if i am not mistaken, the 4.27 is the standard autmatic trans gear set and the 4.46 is the manual trans ratio. with the 4.70 gear ratio reserved for the sasquatch / 35 inch tire options.

Build and price for a Badlands with the 2.7 and 10 speed auto show 4.46 is included. 4.70 is optional with SAS. Manual tranny gives you 4.7 as the only option

Outerbanks is 3.73 open diff is standard, 4.27 is optional. 4.7 comes with the manual

32.1" tire and 3.73 gives you:
70 mph is 1749 rpm
80 mph is 1999 rpm

32.1" tire and 4.27 gives you:
70 mph is 2002 rpm
80 mph is 2288 rpm

32.6" and 4.46 gives you
@ 70mph is 2059 rpm
@ 80 rpm is 2354 rpm

On Edit: I used the 10r80 ratios instead of the 10r60 but they are close enough...
