Yeah, regardless of what I think of 20s, it's good to know that he had no problem fitting the tires. I do wonder at full stuff, full lock if there is any rub, but those probably aren't going to see that often. I will be putting 33s on my steelies in a couple of weeks. 255/80/17s. I imagine I'm in the minority on what I'm running.
When I get my Bronco, I'm putting the 255/80/17s on as well. Pizza cutters for the win!
Yes, one of our resident experts did a great chart, and .67 lift is recommended to move a standard Bronco from 32" to 33" tire. What I plan for my OBX.I wonder if it was possible to keep the crash bars. Badlands is on 33”s WITH crash bars, although it does ride 0.67” higher if I remember correctly
This is my plan. Slight lift base don that chart. Keep Steelies. Add 33" tires.Yes, one of our resident experts did a great chart, and .67 lift is recommended to move a standard Bronco from 32" to 33" tire. What I plan for my OBX.
Thank you, Zach. With many enthusiasts and aftermarket tire dealers pushing the larger, E rated tires, its difficult for us amatuers to sort out the practical choice. I'll look forward to some advice from a good shop . . . and who knows, when off road driving mostly on the beach, i may be quite satisfied with the stock OBX tires until i install some street friendly 33's.The Sas tires are C rated.
(there are a few 315s out there that come in C and D or E)
To answer your question, I believe the FE calls for around 40psi.

33/12.5/20 fit my Black Diamond no problem in stock form with removing just the crash bars if this helps anyone, I could not find information on this particular size when I was looking. The rims are+1 offset.
I had no plans to put 20s on my BD but they look great. does not look like they are too big at all. Congrats on your new ride!! hope mine will be here by first of October.
Also want to know what you did with the TPMS sensors. transfer or new ones..
Thanks!
I had the same problem in my 2005 F-250, got a letter from Ford recommending it.On my F250 I have to run within 10 psi of max to avoid the front end death shake. On my wife's LR4 I have to run within 10 psi of max because the damn thing weighs as much as the F250.
just don’t go with a tire that has a lower load carrying capacity at pressure than the OE tires. Any decent shop should be able to help with this. or go to Tire Rack.Thank you, Zach. My goal is 285/75/17 on the steelies. Will have to go the wheel spacers route if I do that, otherwise pro comp makes a steel wagon wheel with a +12 offset that might work. This bronco is badass. Nice looking fitment!
Thanks for posting.
Myself, I would like to see someone put 285/70r17s on the steelies. Preferably on an Area 51.

I would bet money on it with such an extreme negative offset. So does this mean the 285/75’s will rub on the inside without a spacer, using the OE steelies?
myself, I’d like to be able to just use the OE wheels with larger tires and avoid the cost of new wheels.
