Can’t wait for @LEGEND for this missing link - dimensions from spindle to tube bars. It will be like Christmas....hopefully.

it amazing... it’s like Ford installed those on purpose to limit tire upgrades on lesser trims. I haven’t seen conversations about it before but I know they exist on this board.

For reference here's my 285/75/17 next to the stock 245/75/17 tires. These would be slightly smaller than the tires that come on the base bronco. You'll probably be able to drive around on the street ok but will likely rub off-road.

Yes, it has been discussed several times, they are there to help protect you during side impact crashes, remove at your own peril.

A minor detail, the Bronco shown with 37" tires has a Raptor rear end.

Oh, one other minor detail, it has no engine.
No doubt you are right but there will be some way of getting 37s on a Bronco.

So this image was almost spot on -

FOR EVERYONE'S BENEFIT:
The steely BD tires are 10.4" wide, and the OBX tires are 10.0" wide. We have confirmed 55 offset for the steelies, and 1" gap from upper control arm. That means OBX has 1.2" gap, if that wheel is also a 55 offset like the rest of the Ranger 7.5" wide wheels. This also makes sense because that means the sasquatch would have 0.6-7" clearances from the upper control arms (which ties to the photo of the sasquatch suspension that everyone is freaking out about - it looks to be between 0.5-1").

That means an OBX with a 275/70/R18 (10.8" wide, 33.2" tall) tire would safely be 0.8" from the control arm. Heck, you may even be able to go a bit bigger. Although, I would start to be a little concerned about rubbing on the front bumper. Steel bumper on the OBX looks to give you slightly more clearance BTW.

This feels good. Nailed it at 1" extra clearance, and nailed the 4mm extra lift from BL to SAS that Ford confirmed.
This is the difference from std Badlands to Badlands w/ Sasquatch? A 4mm lift?

Some background which may be helpful.

Ford Bronco 12/13 UPDATE - Updated control arms not just for Sasquatch 33s fitting OBX - 33.2x11.2 (275/70r18) close to max size after Ranger testing wheel-offset-backspace

Nearly every wheel has the offset stamped on it somewhere, usually ingraved on the wheel as a part of the wheel markings (e.g., 6½ J x 15 H2 5/112 ET39 - ET39 means 39mm offset and the 6 1/2 means 6.5” of backspacing) and the offset measurement unit is millimeter (mm)and backspacing is usually in inches. The wheel offset can have zero, positive or negative value.

The wheel has "positive offset" when the mounting pad is outboard of the centerline, towards the street, located closer to the face of the wheel in relation to the centerline. Positive offset tucks the wheel under the fender more.

The wheel has "negative offset" when the mounting pad is on the inboard side of centerline, towards the suspension, located closer to the back side of the wheel in relation to the centerline. Negative offset makes the wheel stick out further.

The wheel has "zero offset" when the mounting pad position is in line with the position of the centerline. Zero offset usually sticks out a tad, zero does not mean flush with the fender. Zero just means the mounting point is in the center of the wheel.

Backspacing is the distance from the inside edge of the wheel to the mounting pad.

Example: On a 17”x 8” wheel, the center is at 4” so if a wheel had 0 offset, the backspacing would be 4”.

Second dumb question......If I was looking between two rims in a 17x8.5 would you pick a 0 off-set or -12 off-set?
-12. A bit more clearance in the fender well, , but only pushes it out about .3”, and a better/wider look. But, that’s just me

Everyone can do what they like for their own Bronco.

I may be naïve, but my thought has been to get the OBX with sasquatch, then sell the tires for $100/each without driving them (renting trailer for pickup), and putting on some 33" KO2s. This way I get the lift/suspension/gearing maxed out but a better highway ride. The two drawbacks I see (other than more money), are needing to buy standard flares later and the rear break light will be extra high.

Also, reason I'm stuck on OBX instead of upgrading to BL is b/c it is the only way to get the dashboard/seat covering combo I want. Anyone else thinking the same?

Ironically.....came across this video of a guy cutting these tubes to add bigger rims and tires to his ranger. Take a look. About 30 seconds into the video.

So can you fit 33s on a Black Diamond without a lift?
